Cells try to repair damaged DNA via a natural repair system called PARP - but cancers also take advantage of this repair system to thrive. This is the principle underlying the development of potential new therapies, including a next-generation PARP inhibitor that is designed to selectively maximise DNA damage to cancer cells. Our aim? To open up the possibility for powerful combination therapies- all for the benefit of patients.
