He's doing that because he wants to fly to her but can't because his wings are clipped. It's worse than tying a dog to a post permanently. Flight is his defence mechanism but humans decided to remove that for him.

I got Sammi when she was just a year old back in Summer 2000. She died May 2023 from a horrible accident because I'd left something out, extremely stupid. She could fly like a hummingbird and circle in a 10' radius right back to me. Loved her so much and miss her tremendously....

Mine calls for our dog all the time. Millie.. .. Millie... and says kiwi and peek a boo, hello and whatcha doing. But it's like this. If you don't know them you would think they're just squeaking bc they don't speak like other birds. They mimick.

This isn't a call. They screech, chirp, etc. He's talking. He heard it and learned to say it on his own a few years after we got him.

He learned to say mama years after we got him. He usually says it as a call instead of screeching, which is unique.

They are beautiful birds I use to breed sun conures. 4 breading pairs lovely birds but loud and their ability to talk isn’t the best

They’re loud, but each one’s different. Some are more quiet than others. Mine doesn’t screech that much when he’s with me. He usually screeches if he wants me to be with him or get my attention.

His beak wasn’t long in this video. It’s normal for a conure’s beak to be like this. There are times when it’s longer than others. He naturally wears his beak down with the wooden toys that he has.
