@@Thomas__Shelby__02__ you can’t really revive the religion besides producing bunch of kids with people from this same culture! Cuz in this culture you are not allowed to marry outside of your religion! And you can’t convert into this religion! You have to be born in the religion...even this person “Mia” might not be accepted cuz she is half a Parsi! It’s a sad thing cuz I love the Parsi people since they are really humble and nice people if you are friends with them! In fact my bf is Parsi but its not accepted to marry out of religion so we are in a lingo for 5 years since if we had kids they might not be accepted in their temples.
I know the steps to get this job : 1) Apply for hotel management course with speciality in food and cooking 2) Work as chef for few years 3) make criteria for judgement of food on a paper 4) and then shove it up your butt
Omg...omg...That's soo yummy.Parsi food is very delicious 👌👌👌👍👍👍Amazing video.Patra ni macchi,dhan sak ,berry pulav,pattice, sali ma marghi, lagan nu custard ....n d list goes on n on....Superb people..Superb food👌👍
I have eaten Parsi food many a times. I love it. But here I feel all the dishes r looking dark red coloured. Parsi food is never extremely pungent. Masalas r never overpowering. It's tasty wholesome n medium spicy. Here all the dishes are looking dark red in colour rt from Akuri
yesterday only i went there it is the best parsi food restaurant i have visited till now... we ordered prawns berry pulav and chicken dhansak jeera soda n laganu custard it was best ❤
At the time of the Muslim conquest of Persia, the dominant religion of the region (which was ruled by the Sasanian Empire) was Zoroastrianism. Iranians such as Babak Khorramdin rebelled against Muslim conquerors for almost 200 years.During this time many Iranians (who are now called Parsis since the migration to India) chose to preserve their religious identity by fleeing from Persia to India
As persian of Iran when I see parsis in India i can find my real origin with all of their intact traditional. I hope I can travel to India to meet them
@Lochan ರಾನೀವಾ 🙏 merci.I respect also to Hinduism and I listen to sadhguru and I like the grand yogi of India babaji, yogananda,Sri yuktesvar who are my mentors.🙏🙏
The patrani looks exactly like bengali macher paturi which is also fish steamed in banana leaves. In actual Iranian cuisine, they have zereshk polo which is basically the same rice you had.
The exact date of the Parsi migration is unknown. According to tradition, the Parsis initially settled at Hormuz on the Persian Gulf but finding themselves still persecuted they set sail for India, arriving in the 8th century. The migration may, in fact, have taken place as late as the 10th century, or in both.
Zoroastrians are known as Parsis in India. They arrived in India around the 10th century to escape religious persecution. There are about 60,000 Zoroastrians in India which is the highest no. outside Iran & they have immensely contributed to the Indian economy.
@@timesfoodie sir andheri main AHURA naam ki ek parsi bakery hai aap wahaa par kaa Chicken Russian puff aur chicken sandwich try kijiye aapko maza aa zaayega
Your presentation n narration is very nice. one suggestion, just give the proper disciption & prices of the dishes on screen, it will help the viewers.
Hey hi Arjun nice video. Explore our Malvani or konkani cuisine also .. one of the nice restaurant is Gomantak at Dadar. Do visit there for delicious food ...
Too much food colour in all the dishes. You kind of loose the authentic colour you get after cooking each ones. Unless its not a paid promotion you guys do, please be more critical and honest in your feedbacks and experiences about these restaurants. As viewers we can see already in the video!
These restaurants are way beyond the reach of most people in India. Patrani macchi costs Rs. 800/-. Such video are ment for foreigners and super rich. Take some inspiration from "Delhi Food Walks" channel to explore palces which are affordable and a common man can savour the authentic tastes.
That's a foolish comparison on eat outs . Did the video to begin with say it's Street food .. no Eating is a cuisine exploration , does not matter if the dish is expensive .. it's the variance ,the ambience ,the food ethnicity . The author / vlogger is gently and easily taking you thru the menu that JB has to offer .Njoy it man !

Mac Cena - good observation. However those dishes more indigenous to the Iranian cuisine. The Parsis in India developed a distinct style of cooking which is loved here as Parsi Cuisine :)
Yesterday I was at Jimmy boy, Fort. The akuri served was not up to the mark, even the tea served was not good enough. I am disappointed with what you shared and what I experienced... From my side I will rate only 🌟 🌟 for the restaurant.
The food looks really tasty. But was it actually tasty?? Can see too much colour added man... I guess the best Irani Cafes in mumbai are Cafe Irani Chaii, Kyani & Cafe Universal. Britannia is good too but overpriced. Don't know much about Jimmy Boy as I've eaten only Akuri there.
It was my first vdo but honestly I felt so fake especially badha chadha k bolna ..n about food why did u leave so much food in ur plate??? Wo bat nahi lagi ..guys it's my personal opinion. Everyone had choice.
Baki sab thik hai, agar aap Hindi me banate ho toh pura Hindustan dehk ta, Q K Hindi hamari rastiya bhasha hai, baki aap samajdar ho insan ko isara kafi hai..
Although some of the ingredients might be persian but this food is not persian food. It is very much influenced by the Indian spices and taste. I dont see our famous stews such as ghormeh saabzi. Fesenjoon, or gheymeh. Or our kabbs such as koobideh, barg and joojeh kabab.
@@mohitgupta7145 Well I have visited India twice but I did not find any Persian restaurant on my visits. I heard there are Persisn Parsis in Mumbai but they have left Iran many centuries ago and their cusine have changed completly. None of the items dishes that is seen in this video are Persian actually. The nearest place to have Persian food outside Iran to India is UAE Dubai.
