I'd like to add that 15 yrs ago I've been diagnosed with oral cancer and given literally no hope. I've looked up the recent studies on natural treatments and found study from University of Bombay and there they had 80% success rate with green tea extract on oral cancer. I've applied the required dosage (4g/day) and was cancer free in less than 4 months. If I knew about apigenin it would've been probably much faster!
In middle East fresh parsley is a common food eaten every day. It's mix with onion, mint, tomato, fine burgul (wheat,) olive oil & lemon. it's called Taboli. your father even mentioned it. it's a meal by itself.
I'm nuts about tabouleh, as we call it here. I'm just a bit too lazy (kitchen not adequate either) to do much proper meal preparation: live on soups and easy salads wherever possible.
Parsley, is given at many restaurants on the side as a breath freshener to be eaten after the meal. I would always eat it cuz it works. Just think of how more of it would freshen the whole body! Praise God, Who made it!!! 🙌🏻 🥰
When I came back to Ireland I had a small veg plot and had a huge supply of parsley...much more than I could eat ,so with the surplus I made PARSLEY WINE .....it was absolutely delicious !
I don't drink coffee and tea, due to my sensitivity to it which causes incontinence - Overactive bladder, so i make herbal teas or infusions. Italian parsley is one of them. I use it in my sandwiches too. When i put the leaves in food, i save the stems and use it for my tea. It's lovely.
You’re really doing something so meaningful and practical with these podcasts- reaching so many of us who’d never be able to hear from you without the www. Thx so much.
Almost any Arminian food we make we incorporate parsley and sometimes big bunch of it. Also turmeric, black pepper ginger, cumin, cilantro, cayenne paprika and lots of wild greens like Thyme Oregon and etc.
Hello from Greece..i will agree with you dear doctors that we haven't give to parsley the position he deserves...so now is his season..so yesterday i make a sauce like pesto with parsley..mint.. peppermint.garlic.vinegar and olive oil...i can say that can combo in every dish..for start i put it up from roasted green peppers and toasted bread...but next days i will try it in tomato salat or spaghetti!!
A salad I make instead of tabouli is chopped parsley, tomatoes, lemon juice and lemon zest, olive oil, garlic and garbanzo beans. Salt and pepper to taste. Delicious❤
This video was excellent. I can understand what’s being said, yet it’s still the science. My brother recently died of colon cancer, so I’m very interested in herbs, food, and lifestyle changes that will save me from the same fate. Thank you!
It's a bit inelegant, but a very good investment is a little lightweight step to keep by the loo bowl. Using this to put our feet on "when we go" brings our body closer to a "natural squatting position", as is still used by rural people in Asia and Eurasia. This position is the optimum one for a complete (as opposed to partial) bowel movement. Bowel cancer is almost unheard of in such parts of the world.
Im growing parsley and like to add it to our smoothie. We get it raw that way. It cleanses the urinary tract I think, for uti's. Didn't know it fights cancer. Great to hear! Thank you!
See Lou Corona on youtube demonstrating lemon ginger blast juice that includes a whole bunch of parsley and other food as medicine ingredients . He cured himself of cancer and many other ailments. Hes 72 but looks 35 today.
Excellent - much thanks Dr. Moss. Parsely is also good for Nitric Oxide to make the blood vessels healthy according to another MD who is also in RU-vid.
Thank you for bringing parsley to the attention of people who have had or are concerned about cancer. Since it cuts amount of blood vessels that cancer grows b/c it needs a huge supply of glucose it may be possible to starve the cancer or at least serve as additional modality to std treatment.
See lou Corona's youtube videos of lemon ginger blast juice that he takes every morning and cleared tumors and cancer it uses a whole bunch of parsley, cilantro, mint , (watercress) whole lemon ginger turmeric and other ingredients. This drink taken in morning is full of food as medicine ingredients. Energizes cleanses oxygenated
Thank you both for making these video’s. I wish more doctors were more open minded I have so much respect for you guys. The Pharmaceutical industry more concerned I’m on making money curing people. From now on I’m putting parsley into my broccoli sprouts they eat every day. I’ve been fight prostate cancer last 15 years. God bless
There must be a telepathic connection between me you guys. I made a berry fruit salad this morning to eat for lunch at three pm , my only meal for today, and I've been feeling excellent lately with fasting and mushrooms from real mushrooms, So i added probably 2 tablespoons of parsley to my salad, among 7 to ten other ingredients . I have the parsley from Costco and it's organic! I am so happy to learn this amazing fact, and i knew that parsley is great for a liver health ! Thank you so much for another excellent video! Enjoyed seeing you both ❤❤😊😊
I love parsley I eat it every time I get a chance to .I chop it up on my salad or just eat by itself. But I most certainly put it in everything I cook almost. Love the information you all bring though.👌🏽👌🏽
I'm in full agreement with every word of your comment. I would also like to add that, in all probability, culinary ignorance & related prejudice prevents people from enjoying this wonderful herb.
So much respect that you come forward with the clue. If you cannot make a carreer or earn lots of money, than nobody will support your findings on natural remedies. I hope that people like yourself can create a strong team of professionals who want to fight the unnatural remedies, which cause more harm to your body. I just finished to make healthy bone broth with lots of parsley in it.
Parsley tincture is part of the Dr. Cowden protocol to be used for Lyme disease and/or co-infections when having a Herxheimer response as it helps you detox.
I grow my own herbs, including parsley, which grows fast enough to yield a harvest every few days from a single pot grown indoors all year around. I wash and lay the parsley out on a perforated tray over an air vent to dry it for several days. After that, I pull the leaves from the stems and grind them into flakes, then I store that in the freezer. I use it, ground flaxseed, turmeric root and powdered leaves, ground cumin and coriander seeds to make roti (flatbread). It's a simple way to make phytonutrients a part of my daily diet. Food is medicine. Eat foods rich in bioactive compounds and you may never need to see a doctor.
Have the benefits of parsley been hidden by the drug industry? I started eating raw fresh parsley years ago when most people threw away the garnish. One warning is that if you grow your own you should plant at least twice what you think you will need because you may have to share with the butterflies. It is a food for black swallowtail butterfly larvae. We do not seem to eat enough beneficial herbs and spices.
Thank you ! I love all your videos ! Not only they are full of wisdom and information but you are both so kind and generous. Thank you for sharing all this !!!!
Thank you for a very informative report. I always learned something valuable from Dr. Moss. An understanding of oneself and how to take care of oneself.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing the hard work of research!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for wanting to share it with us!! Your wonderful father-son relationship is fun to watch, AND I thank you too, for the laughs...you two are smart, caring AND funny!!! 🙌 😂 ❤️
We love parsley so usually cook parsley in kale soup and many other recipes. But lately, I wonder may be I should use them raw for nutrition effectiveness.
My mother had me pick the parsleyfrom the stems, every time she made soup. I quite enjoyed its taste and have not any problems with it, have close family needing to see this. , my Mum , would use it in Everything but puddings.
I come here for your common sense approach, buffered with scientific study information & experience. What I find each time is I also get confirmation /affirmation of the benefits of my current eating regimen. For instance, I have always wondered about the cancer thwrarting benefits of adding fresh parsley to my soups & salads. I have grown both types in my garden. The flavor bite it has seemed to indicate strong, unique compounds, with a diverse, rich anti-oxidant profile. Not long ago, I added Apigenin supplements for it's sleep benefits. Great segment, as always !
The Lebanese eat Tabule which is loaded with parsley! From my part I always try to have parsley with my food and any excess of parsley I cook it and drink it after adding salt, pepper and lemon juice.
I'm amazed, at 83, that not that many people, even today, know how important food is, and most of all,, herbs. I don't take any prescribed drugs, I never get sick, not even with Covid 19 in my house x4 times. I only found out maybe 3 years ago that herbs contain many times the amounts of vitamins and minerals and all nutrients that other foods contain, and I would even guess that besides our choices of proteins which vary so much, if we only otherwise ate herbs we would be so much healthier.
I remember so often punished for grabbing discarded sprigs....or even stuffing my own sprig in my mouth. Getting a B.S. in foods, they taught me it is to eat after meal for covering garlic breath, but i never found found anyone outside academia who agreed with that theory. Everyone is taught it is decorative and rude to ingest. ....but i grow it and eat all i want now😂
Thank you for in-depth discussions! Recently I started adding a couple sprigs off parsley to my smoothie. I like to get nutrients through foods, and it’s said nutrients in food are more easily absorbed by the body. Thanks for the Moss Report.
Parsley and broccoli for one day, eat nothing else. Just the tops from the parsley and broccoli. Don't eat any salad dressing or drink any sweetened beverages. Raw food recovery can deliver amazing results. Doctor, heal thy self. Make yourself hard to kill. Knowledge about the weapons that can kill you, both chemical and biological, paired with Knowledge about what feeds your body, both through microbiology and organic chemistry, can seriously help you to see a larger picture to be that good doctor.
In addition to consuming parsley in tabouli, We also may get maximum amount of apegenin from parsley if blend it with roasted pumpkin seeds to make pesto sauce. When we blend it, we break the cell walls and may extract more apegenin out from the cells.
Thank you for doing this research and sharing it. I learned something new. Although a wonderful addition to a person's way of healing, parsley can lower blood pressure, especially, the root. Sometimes it can even help in management. Many have also used it to bring up the blood count of red blood cells. Easy to produce and use as microgreens.
This is amazing..! I eat Parsley when ever I get it with my meal, ( I grew up eating fresh veggies about two or three times a day) but did not have parsley) I have been eating fresh parsley quite often, also dills, mints, lemongrass, Galungar, Turmeric roots they are spicy and hot peppers 🌶️ and many other herbs and vegetables..! I like to eat them, I don’t know the benefits of it all. And now the Parsley in my opinion is helping me to lower my bad cholesterol. I juiced the parsley with other ingredients and it not bad except when I put the Bitter Mellon in it…! 😛. Love your videos and Subscribed THANK YOU 😊
Interesting that when my sister had cancer at 29 years old 42 years ago they told her to stay away from parsley. They killed her with chemo and bone marrow transplant, weakened her and she died of the cancer and the treatment.
Love you guys!...and these videos are So Helpful!...gLAD TO KNOW MY INSTINCTS ARE RIGHT, SO FAR...I'VE ALREADY STARTED ON THESE THINGS A FEW YEARS AGO...AND THEY SEEM TO BE hELPING A LOT. yOU SHOW US HOW & WHY. SORRY FOR THE CAPS, KEYBOARD IS DYING. juST WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU. 🙂
Very interesting report. I have a few questions: Is the apigenin content the same in the stalks and leaves? Also, if I add parsley to my juicer, will I be getting the same level of apigenin as eating it whole?
Hi Dr, please adjust the volume higher when recording as it is too soft even though I use earpiece need to set high volume to be able to hear. Thanks with ❤ fr Singapore.
But please realize that parsley, like seaweed, has to get the Prop65 warning in California because it can absorb heavy metals (including lead) from the environment. Parsley is wonderful, but it's best to be very selective and only eat the highest-quality ones, preferably pesticide-free, grown in non-toxic environments.
The whole food diet is best but it is easier to ingest a larger quantity in the juice form. Drink a shot glass size twice a day rather than a whole bunch of parsley?
Is parsley sames as coriander ? Or same family of plants If not Can we assume coriander to have same effect as parsley having flavonoids? Amazing insights u guys ,elevating society at large
Coriander and parsley are similar in many ways, but we did not report specifically on cilantro or coriander, and I’m not sure that the study that was looked at also evaluated the health effects of cilantro. However, I think it’s probably a fair assumption that cilantro also has helpful properties, but we will look into it further. Thank you.
❤🎉 I have always been curious about medicine, I see that even when a woman is in menopause there is no need to remove certain foods on the contrary she must eat vegetables not to stop eating carbonitrates 😊
Make yourself a Chimichurri Sauce in a blender (bunch of parsley, bunch of cilantro, 3-5 garlic cloves, small onion or shallot, red pepper, dried oregano, wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper. - goes with all meats, delicious!! and healthy!!
I make pesto with fresh Italian flat leaf parsley, walnuts that have been soaked in water and drained, e v o o, pinch of ascorbic acid and then folded in Romano cheese. It is easy to eat fresh parsley if you make pesto with it.
Lately I've been serving the homemade parsley pesto with a half of an avocado it can also be mixed with Italian dressing, spread on crackers or sandwiches, spooned into hot soup.
