Good work on the video and as usual lots of practical advice.

I personally clip my SPG onto either my right chest D-Ring or crotch strap D-Ring depending if I'm diving in more enclosed space, or more a more open dive site. For both positions, I can just look down and see how much gas I have left, no unclipping needed.

Hi Bob! Greetings from Argentina. Great video. It let me thinking about how many kinds of equipment configurations we have in the market. Particularly I prefer just a pressure gauge or something more complex like pressure gauge plus integrated computer or just computer.

My wrist dive computer shows all this information including remote air pressure so I don't really need one of these. I have been using one but it's just another hose and something more on my BC so I am getting rid of it.

I keep my console clipped off on my left chest d ring however the clip is attached to the hose and situated in such a fashon that the console sits near my chest and is still free to look at but doesn't dangle.

I have a 6 year old ScubaPro computer console with a compass on top, dive computer in the center with a pressure gauge on the bottom. My question is the computer screen the little battery symbol keeps flashing. Does that mean “battery replacement or battery is full “

Hi Bob, thank you for making these interesting videos, particularly on BCDs, regulators and tanks. After a several year streak of dive holidays in tropical locations with rental gear, we are in the processes of getting our own, and gearing up over at Europe. This video came a bit late, just last week we decided to get simpel consoles with pressure meters from a brand manufacturer (suunto) with a thick rubber case opposed to no-name gages, which looked kind of fragile. The local shop advised us to go simple over too much or too complex. (in case you wonder on the other things: 2x ScubaPro MK17 Evo/G260 for its 2 HP ports and good serviceability (over Apeks). Xdeep Zen Deluxe (advise for double wall bladder over the Ghost), and Aqualung Soul (my wife loves jackets). For the tanks I am still undecided between classic 12L steel long, 12L steel short wide, 15L steel, or 12L 300 Bar. Conclusion: 300 bar is not very favourable when we ever go in cold conditions, but it saves the lead on your waist. I tend to go for a standard 12L being good for 98% of the cases, but me being a big air guzzling guy, always the first out of the water, tend to want a larger capacity tank. I also love the video on the redundant air source. Later a 7mm semi suit and icevest will be following later for cold water, maybe ScubaPro Nova Scotia. We already have thinner ScubaPro suits, fins without shoes, googles, dive computers with depth meters and air sensors.) Thanks again for these wonderful videos.
