Tim Mosso and Emil met in WatchBox Los Angeles to discuss the collector’s passion for history, Longines military watches, and his vintage Rolex Daytona collection. For Emil, the story of the watch is just as important as the watch itself, which has led him to chase down unique and interesting timepieces such as his Omega Speedmaster and patent-pending Rolex Sea-Dweller.
Keep an eye out for part 2 to the interview next week!

This is what makes a real collector (not investor): expertise, a personal relationship with his watches, knowledge of history and passion. Here at the highest level. Thank you, Emil, for giving us this insight.

Watch collecting does not necessarily mean passion for engineering. Passion for watches does not mean passion for engineering, otherwise I’d be at all interested in any number of other engineering feats like cars, industrial machines or what have you.
@Nathan.W1696

great collection but you really didnt do his sea dweller justice. How can you talk about the "patent pending" on the watch so many times and not give a close up of any of it? The caseback, the bracelet, the clasp, the diving extension? None of it. Instead we just get more macro shots of the dial. C'mon Tim's hands on videos are better than that
