I do see where the man of valour Mr. Keller is coming from in regards to him and others like him wanting a pluralistic society. But first we have to understand the real construct of pluralism. Pluralism in its original framework is built to express the diverse, abundant, and manifold characteristics of our Creator. It is this diverseness that does not clash or oppose the distinction of others in their value and worth. It is this particular pluralism that creates room for the glory of God to be seen through the lives of everyone who gives language to the mysterious image of God and to the unlimited gorgeous mysteries that lie within life itself. If mankind can get on one accord with this truth, then we can experience a pluralistic society that is healthy, restorative, reliable, and well grounded. Which in return will cause people to experience deeper transformations with their development processes and with their building strategies. Shalom

“Non-traditional morality”??? You mean sin. I think that’s what it’s called. And by the way, we all have sinned. The minute we label it “non traditional morality”, it sounds like it’s worse a sin than “traditional morality”, when all along, ALL sin existed from the moment Adam disobeyed God in the garden. Think about that. There is no “non-traditional morality”.

Yes I do wonder what interest Tim is expecting people to show in accepting sin as a cultural norm so we can have a pluralistic society in his view. That this is where he is heading is very worrying. He seems to believe acceptance of many views is a plus for society.

@@martemis Except Christians don't excuse sin, claim it isn't sin, hold parades to have "pride" in their sin, etc. Don't make some equality here. There isn't any.

Give some practical examples of non-traditional morality. Moving from relationship to relationship without commitment? Love of money? Telling white lies is okay if it avoids trouble? Oppressing people of a different background? Treating women like servants? Believing that the end justifies the means? Believing that society should aim to achieve the greatest happiness of the greatest number of people? Believing that we should eat, drink annd be merry for tomorrow we die?

Unfortunately, he seems to be telling the truth.
