Does anyone know of a Video on rebuilding a BT L2000 Pallet Jack. It was manufactured in 1993 it’s says on the Pump. It pumps up fine but can’t hold a load very long without creeping back down to the ground on its own. The heavier the load the faster it creeps back down where with anything over 400 lbs I can’t move the pallet Jack very far being the pallet is back sitting on the floor. I don’t see any leaks. I checked to make sure it has enough fluid in it and it is fine. I also tried bleeding it a few times. It makes no difference. I would like to rebuild the pump but have no idea where to start. Can anyone tell me why a pump that pumps up quickly won’t hold a load very long? This Pallet Jack use to work great but I haven’t used it much.
Hi Carlos, there is an oil fill plug located on the top of the pump next to the main lifting ram. Generic Parts Service thanks ! I found it. Now I can’t take the damn thing off. I’ve sprayed lubricant on it and it won’t budge. Any other tips for taking it off ? Smacked it with a hammer too.
