Hi, My name is Sunny Solanki and this is the first video of my series on the Python library "ipywidgets". In this ipywidgets tutorial, I explain how to create interactive UIs from Python functions using "ipywidgets". I explain functions interact(), interactive(), interact_manual() and interactive_output() from ipywidgets to create UIs. I also explain how we can create various widgets available from ipywidgets. It'll clear all your doubts and will get you started with the library.
If you are interested in learning ipywidgets in-depth, then I recommend you check out our playlist for the whole crash course.

That's a really good explanation, man. I, as a physicist and a teacher, will make good use for it in my simulations.

The Bokeh instructions you created in one of your other videos were excellent and one of the better ones explained on RU-vid. Too bad it's hard to find Bokeh videos. You really need to create more of those.

Sir in python generally we don't use semicolon at the end of the statement or expression. But why are we using 'semicolon' while calling the interact(function_name, arguments);? I tried without using semicolon the code works properly but it also returns . Sir please clarify this small doubt.

Yes, without semicolon the jupyter cell returns whatever is last. To avoid it, we can use semicolon. Its for this kind of cases when you don't want output to be printed like function name. Generally, in python semicolon is used to separate code if you want to write multiple lines of code in one line. In our example, i simply use it to avoid printing function name as output. There is nothing after semicolon hence nothing gets printed in output.
