It was a friendship that blossomed into a romance. Muhammad Ali and his second wife, Khalilah, were married for nearly a decade and were known as the Barack and Michelle Obama of the 60s and 70s.

I believe Ms Khalilah like Muhammad Ali in the beginning, But he had to prove himself worthy of a intelligent nice looking respectful lady of her caliber. Muhammad Ali and Khalilah was A powerful Black excellent couple before the term got popular 💯

Yes. He was about 24. Elijah Muhammad taught that the man should be 7 years older than the woman.

@@jamesjohnson8544 Unfortunately, prior to the 80s, it was acceptable for an adult to marry 16-17 year old girls. And many of the men were older than 24. In some states 16 is the age of consent so there are no legal consequences. I have read that at least one woman said he started a relationship with her when she was under 17.

She is and was a beautiful woman,but I will have to agree,she is definitely lying when Ali then cassius clay fought Sonny Liston she was only 13, how can she wright a poem 4 him at that age and besides she didn't meet him until she was sixteen,I don't want to get into everything, I have heard other things she claims that I know dam well aren't true but nevertheless she's still my girl because I know why she does it !
