It does feel like you’re in heaven. Best part about it is 98% of the crowd is happy and joyful. I say 98% because I’ve had my share of nasty people who seem to purposely shove me out of the way when I’m filming. Haters will hate! But all in all it’s an amazing event.
Thanks again @naturenel for capturing the beautiful plants and lively company! You guys had me cracking up! Glad to see Blanca is doing ok. I had thought perrhaps her and Laz had decided to pull a Thelma & Louise! LOL Terry is always a nice compliment to your commentaries. You guys tee off well against each other. She's your ying to her yang. 😀
Thanks Chris. I feel this orchid group is pretty tight. We are one big happy family. When one falters, it’s up to the rest of us to help them back up. Blanca went through allot. It was our orchid duty to show up and help. This year is gonna be so much fun. The orchid gang is growing stronger every day. 💚
What a great video and show Nelson!! This is Alejandro, we briefly met min 16 on your video. Needless to say I went back the next day and bought even more orchids. I enjoyed this show so very much and now I get to live it all over again through your video! Thank you!!
Hello Nelson. Am laughing seeing my orchid addict self with that double decker cart full of plants. This is Jackie from Lafayette, Louisiana. I just told my friend who is also on the video with me to watch. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing.
really did have a spectacular show this year and thank you for sharing a great time with you, I hope it happens again soon, a community like no other, thank you Nelson, Tere, Melisa, Blanca, Rosi I love you❤❤❤❤❤
Love your video. So glad you made it. Loved seeing the Rhynchostylus giganteas in the beginning because I just noticed a spike on my RG "spots" this morning and im so excited.
Thanks again Nature Nel , for the elaborate coverage of the show, meeting people and that interesting discourse you had about AI.I will have to re watch it again. Thanks
Yes I like that vanda 😍I haven’t seen the light blue one before interesting. Can understand how you forgot it is so overwhelming at the show but so awesome. Great seeing you Sunday.🤗
What a beautiful show! Some of my very first orchid seedlings came from Ritter's. Terasita, no more hiding your beautiful hair! Lol long hair club member myself. Thanks for the video Nelson.
I'm glad you made it to the Tamiami Nelson😄🙌💖I'm halfway watching, but got to goto work now. Teresita 'Hello'🙌💞I actually missed two major orchid festivals this year Nelson, however I can and will visit them next year for sure🙏Anyway, thanks for this amazing and entertaining tour and chit chat, I'm loving it💞🙌
Hi Newman! Glad you’ve enjoyed the Tamiami event. It was mayhem. But fun mayhem. I hear the shows in Japan can be very impressive over the top. The presentations are really incredible. 💚
Wow! Nelson I loved this day! It was so much fun! I’m gravitating to pino and yellow too!! Omgosh there so many beautiful ones. It was so hard. You new equipment is so awesome! It’s so clear and perfect! Wow! The blooms looked almost better than in person! I hope we can do this again soon! 😘
This was quit the weekend. I had a blast with you. It was so much fun feeling punch drunk on orchids. Oh yeah and 2 Bloody Mary’s. Lol! Next big one is Redland. 🎉
@@naturenel I am actually trying to catch up on your Videos. I was on rehab due to orchid addiction 😁. Kidding aside, I lost most of my prized rare orchids and was broken hearted by it. I stopped collecting/watching videos about orchids for more or less a year. Now I am healed from brokenness. I have a relapse that I can’t help but shop for NBs. Keep it green. Watching you here in Melbourne ❤️🇦🇺
Hi Nature Nel, I very much appreciate and love your videos. There is probably nothing you can do about this but there is so much background noise (which sounds like it's louder then your voice) that I can barely watch the video. I always look forward to your videos 🙂
I know. I’ve explained in the past many times that the big shows will be very noisy. You’re looking at over 30,000 visitors in one weekend. Impossible to control the noise even with a noise reduction mic. I tried it before and the mic goes in and out. I’m going to start recording the International shows the day of setup this way I can film without the crowds. That’s the best I can do at this moment about the noise.
Hi Nelson, Great show!!! I have a question. I live in Oregon. If I could only choose to attend one show., which would you recommend, Tamiami, or the Richland show? Am I correct in supposing that Tamiami has the best cattleya representation? Thanks!
Hi there. Both are amazing. One is outdoors and the other indoors. The good thing about Tamiami is that it’s air conditioned and if it rains the show goes on. At Redland when it rains, and it has, it’s very difficult to shop and walk around. There is that risk. But when it’s sunny, it’s a great experience. Always take cash to the shows. They usually take cards, but International vendors sometimes only take cash. Keep in mind the season of the events. During this season Cattleyas are blooming. That is why you see allot in Tamiami. At Redland you see allot of Vandas, Encyclias, and Dendrobiums. Whatever season is in bloom, that’s what you’ll see more of at the show.
either my eyesight is getting worse or this video was very bright. It felt like there was a lot of glare but it might just be the lights in the hall. I dunno, I didn't notice as much on melissa's video's or yours in the past. Something was different about this video.
