72 that finish on the 2k is much better it looks like a mirror finish and that purple is gorgeous.

no idea on primer about 20ml of paint for the body and chassis and about 12ml 2k clear

Many, many thanks for explaining how to apply 2k clear!!I have always been struggling with this. I followed your steps and instructions and for the first time I had an almost perfect finish. Of course there is still room for improvement, it needs some polishing but overall I am very pleased where I usually was not!

72. What are the visual effects that result from not cleaning the body with thinner or something else?

You can get fisheyes in the paint from surface contamination

@@markshellard5894 Had a look, they seem ok, though after that, a lot of the models are easily $50 - $100+, all for a little plastic :(. Like the Tamiya 14131 Kawasaki Ninja H2R 1/12 for $78 :O. Why does fun have to be expensive QQ :(.

When your priming the body, are you leaving the paint inside the airbrush while you wait 5 mins in between each coat?

Just wander that UMP airbrush cleaner you used to wipe the body - is it alcohol based (kinda like tamiya X-20) or it is solvent based (like lacquer thinner)?

Paul love your work, but I notice you have a problem with dust getting into your paint. Have you considered using a air filtration system for your room. You want the kind that they use in a wood work shop. I put one in my hobby room and it is like night and day. Keep up the good work. .... Best regards....Richard

No I just use the brush. The brushes are not sealed and the solutions lose their potency over time

Excellent video. Do you sell to the US. I couldn’t quite catch where all your supplies are listed. Like I’ve mentioned prior I’ve retired and getting back into the hobby I truly enjoy. Trying to find a good place to purchase the products you use if possible. The spar max compressor do you have a model number? I just need to know how to get access to the supplies you use. Absolutey stunning color :) A few question to the 2k clear; can I clean the airbrush with normally laquer thinner or is any special cleaner required? Let you the 2k all the time in the airbrush between the coats or do you clean it in between? I'm a litty bit scary that the nozzle will jam. Keep it up :)

Yea clean with any cheap lacquer thinner and yea it fine to leave 2k in the airbrush between coats

The best way to clean an airbrush is with windshield washer fluid. Put a little into a squirt bottle and fill the reservoir and spray it out. Its alcohol based so it works with oil or water based paints.
