Love this bag. I wanted a little firmer bottom, so I actually did a second piece of Rnds 1-3 and inserted a piece of plastic canvas and joined the 2 pieces together with Rnd 4 then continued with Rnd 5. I have a couple of Shawls done in Celtic Weave and made matching bags. Greatest sets EVER!!! Love you!!

The plastic canvas bottom is a great idea. I’m also going put a lining in the bag with a couple of zipper compartment, make a crochet shoulder strap and a zipper closure. I’ve made a couple of the hats in the Celtic Weave last winter. Very interesting pattern. Fibre Spider has the most interesting projects.

I am fairly new to following along with tutorials. You have made this easy! I appreciate that very much. Thank you. On a side note, I don't have regular yarn so ripped some fabric into thin strips. I knew my bag would be bigger than yours due to that and needing a larger hook but I underestimated by how much. It is hilarious. My 16 pound dog could easily lay in the bottom and sleep! On the bright side I will only need this one bag to carry my grocery shopping lol

Oh spider ... I absolutely love ❤️ this stitch but have never been quite able to comprehend... that is until now... your instructions and up close camera angles are just perfect... I finally get it....I am definitely going to make one of these ...I even have the very same color brand yarn .. but I prefer a different color .. more like a green or🧐not sure yet...but definitely on my bucket list to do...ty so much ...you are so good 😊 🕷....

FiberSpider, I am not sure if this is just how I think but have you thought about folding the stitches forward over your thumb as you hold the stitch you are targeting? It may help to keep your wrist movements smaller and make the first round almost as easy as the second.

I think the front post treble crochet would be easier for me on stitches. 1 & 2. For me at least. But we’ll see when I try this beautiful work of art. Plus being the great teacher that u are in confident I’ll be ok. 🥰

A lovely bag, and so clearly explained as always, but the OCD side of me wouldn’t allow me to work into the tops of the stitches instead of doing the back post trebles! It’s a major problem for me, and makes no sense, but it would never stop bugging me. I will still make one because it’s so brilliant, but will have to do it the hard way! Thanks Craig xxx
