That is so cool. Very creative idea. I have much more respect to someone willing to put a little elbow grease into a job, than just buying at a big box store. Great job, and I will be looking forward to your next videos. If you got a minute....check out my $50 diy deer blind build. Maybe you can get some ideas to put into your blind. Thanks, and good luck!!
I built one but i took 8 2x4 and lagged bolted through the wheels so you dont have to build walls right on edge of wheel then plus more space in side I wrap them in sheet metal out side because it will follow the shape of the circle and then use pallet wood in the inside and insulate it but this is very sturdy I have a full roof I think you could save a lot of lumber doing it this way
Yes, that works too. We have several on our lease wrapped in sheet metal. I just wanted a solid wood one built out of the old wood my Dad sawed years ago on his sawmill. The Steel tubing wire spools would work good as well with an all welded frame and sheet metal outside. Insulate inside for noise barrier!!
I can't off hand remember the height. Really don't matter as long as you don't bump your head. My wife and I both are 5ft 8, so I always make them about 68in inside. I can tell you I always set my window ledges 38" from the floor. That seams to always be the perfect gun rest. That was a one time custom build for me. We normally build 5x6 boxes. Hope that helps
