8:25 thank you for that information i didn´t know i could Merch a scene with another scene, i always create "scene subset", create a empty scene, load first the scene and than the reload the saved subscene. That is a big time saver for me. Thank you
When using the content library "+" option and "scene subset" with one object selected, the object appears in "My Library" with the unchecked parent character. When adding the asset to the scene the unchecked character also appears in the scene. I believe this is how a "wearable preset" is saved. My item is indeed a wearable but I wanted it as a separate item that can be used on any character. If the item is "Un-parented" the scene subset works as expected. ie The item is displayed in the Content Library along with the character but only the item appears in the scene. This seems a little cumbersome so I am wondering if this is the intended procedure when saving a scene subset....... or perhaps I missed something in your video. By the way I love your tutorials, they are always clear and concise and perfect for occasional users of DS like me. Thank you for your time and effort in creating these very informative videos.
Sir. Good day. A question. Is there a way to recover the perspective view in a scene saved and opened later without using a camera? Because the camera changes the light when i was rendering with the perspective view. Whenever i want to continue a render, to opening it again changes the perspective view to default.😢
Sadly there is no way to get your perspective view back after closing the scene, it's a temporary view only. To avoid this problem, you need to create a camera and copy the perspective viewport before saving your scene (under Create - New Camera - Apply Active Viewport Transforms). Hope this helps!
