Part 17 - The beautiful and magnificent garden of Afif Abad, Shiraz (war museum) 

Afif-Abad Garden, also known as Golshan, is a historic site in the city of Shiraz. Located in the Afif-Abad neighborhood along Sattarkhan Boulevard, it is currently under the management of the military and houses one of the largest military museums in the Middle East. This garden was originally part of the private estates of the Zolghadr tribe (Yaqoob Khan Zolghadr), who were rulers of Fars during the Safavid era. Afif-Abad Garden is a perfect example of Persian gardening art. The garden’s mansion was constructed by Mirza Ali Mohammad Khan Qavam al-Molk II in 1284 AH (1863 AD). Situated in Afif-Abad, one of the affluent areas of Shiraz, the complex includes a royal palace, an ancient weapons museum, and a Persian garden, all available for public visits. The site was registered as a national monument of Iran in 1972 under the registration number 913.
