u shudnt switch to 4x4 on dry tarmac... it has no speed converter on the front wheel unlike all wheel drive model. the moment u hit corner the speed is no longer the same for front and rear tyres. it was designed for offroad. only latest triton can do that, switching on tarmac
H4 and L4 should NOT be use on high traction surfaces such as tarmac or even at high speed. those should ONLY be use in low traction or high load situations. That's speaking from over 20+ years of off road and estate experiences .
If you want to over take a Ford Ranger do it at the corners! I did it often in my old 2016 Hilux.....of course, I drive stick so that could be a factor.
ESC not flashing due to torque. but due to lose grip at corner. if esc flashing due to torque, u step on throttle during straightline, it will flashing too.
Tire loses grip when I step on in the corner, the torque is high enough to loses grip. Same thing, If the torque is low It won’t lose grip in the corner when I step on
@@aderenlim Can be due to combination of high torque and high centre of gravity. I see few cars that have higher torque than this hilux but never got esc flashing during genting pov.
@@highiq145 tall car ma..u cannot expect it can corner flat like sedan. for sure hard cornering, the system struggle to cope with grip. high torque somemore.
Minute 5.39 topkek. ESC keep flashing due to u, 1) Dont have enough expertise how to corner without lose grip, 2) Corner with this tall car. And luckily u dont off esc, if not, u plunged into the mountain already. 450nm torque not that high too make esc keep flashing everytime u take corner..
something to consider about the Revo in case you want to take it off roading especially with water crossings;- waterproof the sensors and electronics! My friend got it towed to the shop with water logged sensors....
