For so long, it's been a dream of mine to paint a sun-kissed landscape. But I'm afraid to include those radiant rays in my painting. Today, I decided to push past that fear. so I grabbed my brushes and dove into creating a doorway drenched in sunlight, without worrying about perfection or failure. And you know what? I'm really happy with how it turned out in the end!
Sure, I faced challenges throughout the painting process, From starting with working on textures and light in the buildings and foreground foliage I struggled a lot.
I doubted myself at every step.
But I persisted, and here's the result and I've gained so much confidence.
I'm no longer afraid to paint scenes that capture the essence of sunshine.
I know there's still plenty to learn about mastering light and shadow, but this feels like a great start.
