Absolutely gorgeous 🥰 thank you my granddaughter is loving this set I am a little frustrated with the purse because no matter how many times I frog it still isn't straight meaning the bottom of the purse doesn't line up with the handles but that is okay I really like everything so I can handle not getting that part perfect 😜
Thank you! I appreciate you feedback. I know I can be a rambler and am working on it. However, I am not sure how I could shorten and talk less with this particular video since it is three separate patterns in one video. Also, I like to explain what I am doing especially when making doll clothes. The construction can be confusing if you have never done it before.
Got the sandles n beach bag done. Still working on the hat. Bummer i have to downsize useing 4 weight yarn. I just thank God i know enough math to do it. 🤗
Got it done! But seems a little big. My g-daughters dolls hair have curls so will sneak a try, lol. I can undo it if need be n redo. I wss so inspired by your pattern i made a second hat for a ponytial❣ That one may be a bit small, 😏😆. But it fits my doll, which does not have curly hair, 😁❣
Whenever I do a magic circle, at the end, I weave that tail into the magic circle at least twice around. It makes me feel more comfortable with them lol
Ag dolls head circumference is 12 1/4. After increases, what should the diameter measure? I'm using caron simply soft. 4mmhook.at round 11 I was at 4 itches across. 1
Sorry for the late reply, I am not sure. I looked at my written pattern, and I didn't measure the diameter, just the gauge. I also no longer have the outfit as I gifted it. Unfortunately I do not have time this week to make up a hat to check for you. The hat is more of a floppy hat style and is not a very tight fitting hat. You should be okay using a 4mm hook and Caron Simply Soft. If it is too big, you can do less increases. Your final increase count is 60 before the shell stitch section. If that is too big just make sure your final stitch count is dividable by 3. You will be good to go for the shell stitch section. You will just have less shells than the original pattern, but shouldn't really affect the overall look of the hat. I hope that helps. Happy Stitching!!😀
I made the hat but not quite sure which is the right side as the brim is folded over. Which side should I be weaving in the ends? It is a very cute hat though. I have a pic on Ravelry.
Good question! Sorry I wasn't clear on the video. The part that is folded back (Which that is optional, you don't need to fold it back. It's a styling choice. I just thought it looked cute that way.) would technically be the wrong side facing. I don't think you can really tell if it's the wrong side if you choose to fold it back.
Hello! your outfit is gorgeous I m trying to make it however I am a beginner and you are going a little to fast for me to catch up. Could you go slower in your videos ? or if you got something for beginners like myself. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! This is definitely for more experienced crocheters, but I love your idea of an outfit for beginner crocheters. I will give it some thought and try and come up with something.
Sorry it didn't work out for you. I tend to be a tight crocheter. You can always drop down a hook size to help adjust for fit. Also, depending on your particular doll, the head size might vary. Our 18 inch dolls that we own are American Girl,. Even though they are the same brand the sizes are not the same. Some are slightly smaller than others.
