We had to let our cat Mia go to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday, she was so gentle. She chose us, turning up 11 years ago emaciated in our garage. I definitely feel you were that person for me when I lost my mum. You used to say that no matter when you came across the reading that you are meant to see it at that time. You were that what the fluff for me and makes my heart happy for you that you have that for you. 3 years on whilst the grieving symptoms have quietend down, once in a while my stomach meets my throat when I remember my mum isn’t here. I can’t pretend I know what you’re going through, I’ve never lost a partner in death only divorce (and that was bad enough) but I keep you in my thoughts and know you will rise again xx

I am in disbelief that Darren's family could do what they're doing to you. When I looked on Facebook, I saw their post and it immediately came up post no longer available. I hope that they've realised how low their actions were. 😢 I'm sorry you're going through this whirlwind. In an alternate way, it helps so many because when we're stuck in grief we feel we are the only ones. Sometimes you need to see someone else fighting through it and succeeding to realise there's a better path for us to follow as well- a more happy road ahead if we keep that positive mindset about the future. Nicky - I still cannot look at photos or videos of my Rob, even after 23 months as it is at today's date. I can only do this, when I need to send people photos and then it's just the photos that I need to send. I can't look at our happy days together, because I just break down. I haven't laughed and have only, now and again, put on a smile. It really is hard when you lose your partner. You are in my thoughts and always will be. xxx

Thank you for this video Nicky. 4.00a.m. used to be my wake up time too. I eventually stopped fighting it and just got out of bed and made a coffee and went back to sleep later on. It eventually settled down and went back to normal - it was almost as if my body was saying "just acknowledge that you are going through some sh1t" and once I accepted it, that I was not a robot but a living feeling human being, my body started to settle down. Yours will settle down too. Probably faster than mine did because you have been sensible enough to cut yourself some slack🥰. Know we are all rooting for you xx

Dear Niki ♥️ when you express your hurt over what Darrens family members are doing you are giving them power. Through your grief tandem up with your strength. Go forward … as hard as that is… with your work and show brilliance. It’s inside you. Please, for your own dignity, stop advertising how you feel about this poor behavior. Don’t let ‘them’ see you as weak. From now on be private about the negative rain. Umbrella up and protect yourself from the dark storm. I’m not weak I’m sending my ground. I have had to fight them off since he died and sometimes I need to speak my truth and protect my 30 years work. I’m not having it. I am not absorbing the energy I am protecting myself and my tribe
