Part 2 - Ludwig Museum, Neuschwanstein and Starnberger Sea (GK2 Beast Within Location Tour) 

Still one of the best game soundtracks ever. Robert Holmes is such a great composer.

I haven't found a better adventure game than this one since i first bought it. Supreme atmosphere.

This is amazing on so many levels.... I played this game as a ten year old and am actually two hours away from most of these locations for the first time in my life. Looking forward to hopefully checking some of them out.

OMG... the nostalgia :)

Been to the Starnberger See site just today - almost dark, almost full moon, I'm walking there alone towards the cross, and suddenly… flashlight near the chapel. Then it disappears. Then I see somebody walking with the flashlight around the chapel, looking at some details. I'm not joking - I left in a hurry. Surely some Schattenjägers still investigating. Or werewolves ;)

Neuschwanstein, the biggest tourist trap ever. Believe me, the romance and mysterious atmosphere of the game is non-existent in that tourism polluted area in and around the castle. It's a beautiful sight, but the closer you get to it, the worse it gets. Nonetheless, I love this game, it's one of the few that teaches you about history in a fun and interesting way! It just fills the gaps with fiction but that's fine, because the life of Ludwig II might as well've been ficticious... :)

These keep getting better and better, great sense of humour and dedication man!!!

Have been following the locations tour,was very dissapointed that you are not alowed to take films or foto's in the castles and museums.In münich many locations are behind scaffolding.was not able to find übergrau's office.And the housenumbers in Dienerstrasse are changed where no 54 should be is also behind scaffolding.The street,where Gabriel was shouting at commisar Leber,infront of the T.V.crew.I could recognise.Rothenburg(rittersberg) was very nice,but very touristical,Lots of Grace's here

Its not part of the official music on the Gabriel Knight Mysteries soundtrack...There used to be a site which had all of the general themes used in the background for download...will PM you if I can find it...I'll have a look now.
