Part 2 of Improving Our Itiwit / Langley Mill Canal 

I have been looking to improve ours as well! I had the 2 seater and we LOVED IT! with one person it tracked horribly. I would turn back and forth. With two and the normal fins it sat deeper in the water and did fine..... Maybe try the old fins that came with it??? We eventually bought the 3 seater as my experience with boats is the higher capacity the better it tracks. So far so good. But I almost feel like we don't sink into the water enough to track as well. Thinking of adding 1 of those deeper fins? Idk. I'd also like to make a wooden platform to tie down beach chairs to sit on instead of the inflatable chairs. Thoughts?? Thanks for the videos!

Hey I just got the same kayak as you. Did you have problems sliding the fins in? One of mine will not slide in, it's too tight. If you had the same problem, did you find a way to slide it to the slot?

How did you attach the new seat to the itiwit seat in the end? You mentioned paracord but we didnt see what you decided on in the end.

It does look too small as far as the length goes. I think that these inflatables always get advertised for one more person than really fits.

I've been using one of those camping seats for ages and like you I just pop it into the existing seat or in the Ironing Board and the Brant I just prop it against the back of the cockpit.
