On the day before valentines I went to a local thrift store and got two pins- sterling- both from Mexico! One is a heart with flowers stamped in it and the other newer of a cat with a really long neck! They are beautiful! Glad I found them. When I saw the cat pin I immediately thought of you Sandra! I'm a BIG sterling fan, wear it 24/7, have many old Hopi pieces but also like the Swedish/Danish designs. The amethyst necklace from part one and the bracelet from today are my favorites. GREAT collection! I like pieces that are a little more polished. Thanks for sharing! .

This episode made my heart sing as l used to collect vintage Mexican jewelry and have resold a lot of it. I presently have several pieces on eBay. I kept some of it but did sell some of the nicer ones. Had several pieces from Margo de Taxco. I kept pieces from Beto. Sold a Jensen bracelet on eBay. My knowledge of the beautiful Mexican jewelry used to be far and wide but l have forgotten so much. Turquoise is named from the mine it is from. I loved seeing your gorgeous collection!!!
