Nice to meet you too Tim. Well done giving the acronyms a go. You did well ;-) Celeste, my AMH level is 7.1 pmol/l which is within the normal range for my age (almost 38 years old,) but on the lower end of the scale. So your number sounds good :) My fertility specialist said it wouldn't be impossible but could take over a year to conceive if I was lucky. I didn't want to take the risk so lucky I am a candidate for ivf! CD1 is fast approaching. Almost time to start injecting! Yay! Thank you for the Q&A vids, they made me smile and laugh! +Tim and Celeste Hi Celeste, I did the first gonal f pen injection tonight. It took me 20 mins to psych myself up to do it. Didn't hurt one bit. Felt a slight ache about 15 mins later but nothing painful at all. proud of myself for doing it myself! Should be easier tomorrow night. Yay! x
I just want to mention the AMH level. I had something over 50 and in my first appointment with the doctor he said it is far too high and it's indicated that I have pcos. so he prescribed me Metformin 3 a day for like 12 weeks before we started ivf cycle in order to lower the AMH level because having it too high has a risk of provoking miscarriages and failing implantation. so I had to do second blood test before they allowed me to start ivf cycle. I wish they spotted it at the first time but we live and learn. I would advise you to talk to your doctor about it. I'm absolutely certain that you should take some actions to lower it now before your next cycle. they also asked me to carry on taking metformin untill I'm 12 weeks to prevent miscarriage. it's a very cheap tablet for type 2 diabetes but for people with High AMH too. xx
That's interesting!! I was told optimal AMH levels are between 40.04-67.9..Thanks for sharing though- I'll be sure to mention it with my doctor in my next appointment, as well as the metformin. Thank you :) xx

Just found you guys' channel. I admire your positivity along with the honest sad feelings u share. Its beautiful that u stick together as a couple n keep tryin. I myself am so scared at the moment. Im luckily 10 weeks pregnant but ive been spotting and my doc said i shudnt worry bit its easier said than done. I wish u longlasting strength n love n hopefully soon a reward for it. Let us know if ur next pregnancy test is positive coz u were only 12 dpo plus a faint line is a line. I tested 15dpo n had faint lines. The worst tests were the digital clearblue ones... OMG.....you're a cross stitcher?! Me too :D Adult colouring is super fun. Love your names too, so sweet and lovely. Boys names are a lot harder I think. Hubby and I can absolutely agree on a girls name but we're stuck on boys names. Love to know how you met :) Your husband seems so sweet. I love his comment about names like Jordan and LeBron, lol.

We actually met at work when we were both in hospitality- we were friends for a year & then our friendship grew! ❤️ Boys names are so much harder! Although there are so many pretty girls names out there, I think it will be challenging to pick just one/two.., & ones that we can agree on! Haha yeah, LeBron & Jordan ain't happening! We had our first scan last monday and everything looks good so far :-) I do have to have some extra cardiac scans due to family history. So those will be our next hurdles. Just trying to relax and enjoy it. Will probably bring the doppler out for reassurance tomorrow night. I do a lot of cross-stitch now, although I stopped for years when I was at uni. I find it so relaxing.
+Chloe Crawford Yes, cross-stitch is something you need to have the time & energy to do, but I also find it relaxing. That's great news! :) I'll be praying the extra cardiac scans you have coming up all go smoothly also. I think I'll be looking at getting a doppler for next pregnancy- as long as I don't try to use it too early on, I think it'll put my mind at ease & make relaxing & enjoying the pregnancy a whole lot easier! x
I have found mine reassuring. I found the heartbeat at 10 weeks 4 days. Possibly could have found it earlier but the placenta is at the front. But if I find it freaks me out I am selling it.
