We are new to camping and went on our first trip last weekend, we watched practically everyone one of your camping trip videos before going and followed most of your recommendations, absolutely fantastic guides and recommendations we would have been at a loss without some of these great tips, thanks to Gav and the family
For longer camps, if we’re on an electric hookup, we take this powered ecolux www.getoutwiththekids.co.uk/reviews/outwell-ecolux-coolbox-review/ otherwise we use this Pelican collapsible one www.getoutwiththekids.co.uk/camping/new-year-new-camping-gear/ or the Coleman Xtreme www.getoutwiththekids.co.uk/reviews/coleman-xtreme-3-cooler-review/
Brilliant video - thank you. I’m usually on hook up ( and all electric, with induction hob) ) but just spent 4 days off grid and have had to adjust a few things accordingly. I had already bought the Cadac twin hob ( it’s brilliant!) but was struggling with the water container as my small rigid one had spring a leak and the larger ( a Ridge monkey one) was too big. Love your collapsible one and have ordered one. Thank you.
I can't remember now, it was that many years ago :-) It was probably somewhere like Home Bargains. I just found some similar ones on Amazon amzn.to/2YiCeEH
Thanks for this. Very useful. What would you recommend fridge wise for a trip to France for a week/two weeks camping? I am struggling to find something which would be suitable for longer term camping.
I assume you'll be on an electric hook-up? You can get some coolboxes that can work both off your 12V car power for the journey, and then off mains with an Electric Hook-up, like this one www.getoutwiththekids.co.uk/reviews/outwell-ecolux-coolbox-review/
