Yall missed the point. In the 1980s, early in MJ's nba career, it was known MJ's weakness was going left. Ice Man was tearing up a young MJ because of that weakness during the playoffs

MJ improved his left but at the same time just bc they say MJ was weaker to his left, which is natural for right handed players, he was still better to his left than most left handed players. Again apart of this narrative to ring MJ down to bring him levels bc they already tried ti uplift as their guys as far as they can. A common tactic used throughout history

It's still impressive, but it's slightly overblown. LeBron has played one more season than Kareem, and even if you include playoff games, he's still played 18 games less. And LeBron hasn't missed very many games do to actual injuries. They were mostly rest days, which players back then didn't really do.

Born in the 80's and watched these guys played in the 90's. Emulated my game to the 90's style of play. In my 40's, me and my brothers still schooling our sons and their boys. Still schooling neighborhood kids. Still cooking guys at the local gym. The kids now try And 1 balls and globe trotter crap on us....carrying and traveling, we don't say shiit and instead we start doing it to them too, now they calling travel, carry....we start laughing at them. When all else fails and they start playing physical.....we just smile and bring out the shovels and body bags.
