I just watched a fanvideo of Harry and Ste and I realised what I really miss is one of those rare deep relationships. Like the one of Brian & Justin or Roman & Deniz. You see them for the first time and then you can't stop watching. You want to watch it over and over and over again. And I have to say I haven't seen any of this in the relationship of Harry and Ste or Ste and John Paul. I really hope there will come a new great couple wish I can love like I loved Brian & Justin. But I have to say I don't think Hollyoaks can fulfil this wish.
+PrinceChangminFan1 The problem is that Ste/Harry is all sex and no substance and Ste/John Paul is all substance (and turmoil) and no sex. A relationship needs a combination of both for it to be an epic romance like the ones you listed. I thought McHay could have a chance now that Ste is comfortable having sex while being HIV+, but then the writers had him relapse again and now I've given up all hope of a happy Christmas reconciliation... Lately it doesn't seem to matter what relationship Ste's in, he'll find a way to mess it up.
+futureidol83 i agree with you. personally, i've never seen chemistry or passion between ste and jp. i don't like mchay because i think that both of them deserve a satisfying relationship, but they can't have it together. on the other side, you're right, sterry is still too focused on sex and passion. their relationship, if they really want to make it work, needs to move to a deeper level.
