In 2018 i was travelling mumbai to ladakh i had very bad experience just before sonamarg i stopped for a break asked 2 water bottle from one of the local shop he bought me kinley and one local brand I asked him sir dono kinley hi de do he bought kinley and his like ye lo apke India ka. And I was shocked I said apke India ka matlab ye dusra brand kaha ka hai. He replied ye kashmir ka h Or ye kashmir hamara hai. So sir I can imagine what kind of mentality they have in 90's.

Seeing all the BS these deniers saying is so filled with hypocrisy - here are a few pointers: 1) Talk of other riots : Nope kashmiri pandit genocide is nothing compared to any other riots that happened in India.. Tell me one another riot where temples where blaring that convert or die? Or saying that men should leave and leave behind women to be raped? , one another riot where houses forcibly sold at pennies and the things inside sold on streets ( happened in Kashmir).Tell me one another riot which has been happening for 30 years now and the people still not resettled and people not punished for a long time and inquiry only done in half measures. ( which brings me to the next point) 2) This happened long back : nope it's been ongoing and the people displaced are still away. Even right now as I'm typing this it's on going.. Just last month prominent kashmiri pandits(Makhan Lal Bindroo) were shot and killed along with Sikhs and even Muslims who are part of police, govt etc ( go read news Mr/Mrs denier) 3) why not make movie on other side of things like Godhra files or whatever - a gazillion movies have been made on this and not just based on facts but fiction.. Example Haider, Mulk, Roja, mission kashmir, kai po che etc etc just to name a few.. With much bigger cast and receiving awards as well. That time the deniers or leftists weren't soo defensive or talking of Daange?? Now one movie is made and everyone is soo defensive about it ( shows their nervousness confronting the truth) Also, FYI Godhra riots started because about 70 hindu pilgrims were burnt to death alive in a train ( which people convieniently want to leave out) No side is right humanity is the right one.. Denying the plight of the Kashmiri Hindus is similar to how Germans were brain bashed of the atrocities being commited by nazis. (its a crime to deny Holocaust in Europe - yet its funny in India they are actually debating this) 4) If you're talking of 'Godhra files' then lets make on Mopala riots, Sindhi genocide, Punjab riots, bengal riots as well. 5 kashmir files is lies??!! - if anything the movie has actually toned down the real incidents and not showed enough - the lady who was forced to eat her husband's blood soaked rice was also gangraped for 10 days and made to cook the rice everyday - Girija Tikoo was called back by her own university which conspired , after she had already gone to Jammu to bring her back to collect a cheque and associate professors took part in the rape and murder of her after she was pulled down from bus and sawed in half by hand saw(not even mechanical saw) - Kashmiri Muslim doctors openly admitted to injuring those injured kashmiri pandits in hospital by wounding them further...the intial DSP was murdered by a crowd that literally bit him to death (almost making it cannabilistic) and the public dancing around the dead bodies!.. This is just the tip of the ice berg! A million other things.. If anything thr movie didn't show the full details! These r just a few point.. I could go on and on, but it's enough to get these hypocrites to shut up.. And the part where that kashmiri guy says Hindus will never return to Kashmir.. Everyone might want to watch the channel Newslaundry.. they have a 3 part series called Reporting from Kashmir 1989 to 1994… only people from my generation will remember the time when apart from Doordarshan there wer no news channels..Madhu Trehan and Arun Shourie had something called Newstrack which was news recorded on video tapes that you bought or rented .. these were the days when journalism had no agenda.. they just tried to get you stories as they happened.. two young journalists were sent to Kashmir to bring back visuals to the best of their ability.. the stories are not graphic like in the Kashmir Files but you get the sense of the terrible situation unfolding....so if Newstrack got this out ,the government of the day knew so much more but chose to sit back and watch while doing NOTHING...even the BSF/Army had to hold back in many situations as the Government would not allow them to take the necessary action...it is just so shameful that something that could have been nipped in the bud by a strong government ,was allowed to escalate to an unbelievable point and the genocide of an entire community..!!!! It should never be allowed to happen again to any community, anywhere..!!!!

Dear Mr & Mrs Razdan, Ever since watching the haunting and gruesome reality that the Angnihotri family and their team has put together in the form of a documentary on the 1989/1990 Kashmir genocide, i have not only had sleepless nights, diarrhoea, eating disorder etc but a feeling of shame and a guilty/troubled conscience. I, for some reason feel ashamed and guilty not even knowing what actually happened in your beautiful valley and your lives. I keep, wondering why, without any answers. And more questions arise in my mind that force me to analyse myself even more. Whilst my parents and I were not born in India or lived there, I do have a blood line through my grandparents who were Srinagar born but migrated to East Africa in the 1915s and never returned to India. My parents were also born in East Africa. We had to leave Kenya for the UK later in the mid 1975s. I do feel it is the responsibility of every human to raise ones voice in support of fellow humans, who are/have been victims of terrorism, genocide, crime against humanity. I truly, do feel lost for words and at the moment do not know how I can support, but as a fellow human and since I have been brought up to believe that the universe is one big family 'Vasudev Kutumbh', I truly would like to apologise for my ignorance and somehow need to take personal steps to ensure that the least I can do is to find the time to keep myself informed better in the future. Hats of to you and your community for at least surviving and I pray that the then governments and the then political parties will face a trial and be brought to justice too, just so that such inaction when required by civilians is not repeated in the future. This can only happen if the current government pushes for a trial backed by demands from the public. We do manage to keep allowing history to repeat and it is about time that the new government look back and take appropriate actions to regain a safe and free Kashmir valley and hand back to where it belongs , which is with the Kashmiri pandit. Apologies again, prayers and thoughts always for you and your communities.
