We have reached the final part this journey in this mini series, showcasing an extreme cleanup transformation for a family of a deceased loved one. Follow along with me as I transform this backyard, encountering grass, and mounds of blackberry bushes, all while aiming to make the property code compliant.

When grandma and grandpa passed away the family got a outside person to sell everything and split it up with the kids and if any of them made a fuss they didn't get any of the money 😮 you are doing a beautiful job on this property 😁😁👍👍❤️ ❤️

Thank you 😊 I love my tools. I was taught to take care of them. My motto now that I teach my children is “take care of your tools and they will take care of you” 👍

11:54 glad you said your hands go numb... my whole left arm will go numb while whipper-snippering and i thought i had something seriously wrong with my nerves!
@yardrescue

I probably have carpal tunnel in both hands from doing this for so long. I think the reason we go numb is due in part from the vibrations but probably more due to the fact we are squeezing the tool so hard to keep it going and hold it up to the point that there's not good circulation.

@yardrescue carpal tunnel makes sense, and for me, it's for sure the vibration, i usually have to mow a fence line, then whipper snip, then next fence line then whipper snip, etc. But when it's all done *chefs kiss* worth it!!

Look into a brush cutter for your weedwacker. I’ve seen others use it on vines and berries.

You probably need a brush or mulching blade instead of using your hedger for that stuff. Thanks for the video.

You are absolutely right! Stay tuned this year and you’ll probably see me use one on future blackberries and other brush.

What a job! Just wonder if the city is providing the equipment for you to do this , because it has to be wearing your equipment out.

heh, this is all me. All my equipment. I prefer to use my own so I'm not liable for anyone else's.

This property was wayyy too much work for one person!! I got tired just watching you. Next time get assistance or just pass on it. I don’t even know how you did it andsurvived
@yardrescue
@yardrescue 6 месяцев назад
Yeah it was a lot but I got to work at my own pace, usually 80-120% 😋, and enjoy the fresh air, allergies, and muscle pains. 😂 I’m sure you do some cleaning work that is quite exhausting but you feel so good after knowing you made a difference, ya know?
