I saved myself a ton of headaches recently. Have iOS devices, and wanted to be able to use WiFi while using FORScan, so got the veesee Bluetooth adapter. Only a few Bluetooth adapters work with forscan on iPhone, from my understanding. Truck died at a turnout. My IDM had failed, so I relocated the new one to the engine compartment by swinging the harness IDM pigtail inside, and making a custom mounting for the original bracket. The FORScan injector buzz test and ability to read PCM and other non ODBII codes was critical to me being able to figure it out myself, there at the side of the road. Best $45 I ever spent, since I acquired this 03, 7.3 250 SD a couple of years ago. Took the opportunity to do some other maintenance I had parts for, while the truck was out of service, and because I had high resistance readings, and 4 codes related to injectors/injector wiring after new IDM was in. Those were due to the common wear point on the valve cover behind the mounted half of the 42 pin connector over the driver’s side valve cover. (Caught just in time. Barely any copper showing on 2 of 3 worn wires, so I just taped them individually, and wrapped the last 3-4 inches of the loom before the connector with about 10 layers of super 33 electrical tape. The other issues were due to under valve cover wiring to injectors. I had purchased a kit with the dorman style valve cover gaskets with wiring, a set of cheap Chinese glow plugs (turns out I had 6 of 8 bad at 200k miles,) and a Gates HD belt/tensioner/pulley kit. Had a coolant leak that I was afraid might be injector o rings or cups, but it turned out to be the outlet from the thermostat to the upper heater hose was just rusty. Pulled the hose to install the Ambulance/two alternator hose that does not go through the middle of the belt. With the new IDM and no injector pulses shorting out to ground on the valve cover, it drives like a new truck. ICP is on my short list for maintenance tasks, as mine is leaking oil into the connector(so will be replacing that too) but still functioning. Along with that, I’ll be adding a dual frantz bypass filter setup, and switching the crappy specter filter that came in the air raid intake, out for a Synthamax dry filter from airaid. Ultimately will be changing that out to the Ford/Donaldson severe duty intake with 4000 sq inches of dry filter media. I found some actual (not counterfeit) ford OEM ICP sensor vendors in the $65-85 range, so will be going with OEM. I depend on the truck too much not to go OEM on critical sensors. I’m too cheap not to find the best deal I can on them though... Thanks for the video!

The ICP red gauge was the response from the ICP, it stayed at 0 because the ICP wasnt doing its job.

Those $60 ebay OEM ICPs are fake. Real ones cost $120+
