Moon is Exalted in Taurus, where the deepest point of exaltation is 3 degrees Taurus. Yes Lord Krishna star is rohini. With a pleasing personality that lord Krishna had, its got to do with moon and venus influence which is only possible if the star is rohini and of course its Taurus.
Acourding to Unequal nakshatra system, Rohini starts at 2.56 degrees in Taurus. Some nakshtras are longer while some are shorter (take cities for example, some are big, some are small.)
