We all gotta help each other out. I don’t like a bunch of bs when it can be explained in simple to understand terms. I could be so much more complicated but life’s to short to worry about that. Thank you for watching !!
I have always understood it to be more of an "Average Daily Theorhetical Loss," where your coin in and other "stats" are based on a daily average, not a session average like you mention. More so, I believe this is also shared within hotel "ecosystems." Example: I bet $1000 on Tuesday at any number of MGM properties (could be $1000 at one, or $200 at 5) my average daily coin in is $1000, so my Average Daily Theorhetical Loss is X. If I were to go back to an MGM casino on Wednesday and put another $1000 in, my daily average would still be the same so I would want to use my player card (1000+1000 / 2). However if I went back to an MGM casino on Wednesday and just put in $20, that is when I would not want to use the card as it would ruin the average like you mention (1000+20 / 2). The number of sessions or machines I play on any of those days does not matter as far as I know. Because of this, you essentially want to make sure all your gambling for a trip is done within a single casino ecosystem and all on one day (unless you can afford to keep your average high over multiple days)
You are correct average daily loss is the broken down avg of multiple days. In Part 2, I briefly hit on this topic. I was keeping it very simple for ease of understanding how comps are earned. So I used just one day of play to simplify the math as I did not want to go into great detail on multiple days or even yearly play. If I do a part 5 deep dive, if there is enough interest, I will detail it out alot more. Those numbers would be shared across owned properties (ie MGM resorts, Caesars Properties), however some properties even within the same ownership chain do not share that info. My play at ballys would carry over for comps, but not being rated (again more detailed views that I did not get to deep into). For the coin in avg, for simplicity sake, I used a single day to explain how lowering the avg works. Rarely would someone who puts in $1000 in a slot consistently, would worry about lowering their coin in avg, as the number of 1000s will greatly out weigh the number of 20s. If there is a part 5 i will make sure to cover multiple days and even trips. Thank you for the comment , i will include it in part 5 and love the name. Reminds me of by track / racing days when I wore a shirt that read "I am not the Stig" to remind me to be humbler in the turns. Thank you for watching!
So I’m constantly putting in $100 bills to start am I better off always starting with say 300 lose 100 cash out put in 300 and again lose 100 cash out as opposed to just putting 100 every time?
If you put in 100 at a time for let’s say 1000 total , vs 1000 in at once , there is no difference with coin in as it’s still 1000 (this does not include churn) you avg bet is the machine denom ie $10 x number of credits played at a time. I am working on a more detailed video , but the issue is that math gets stupid busy and i can not show how it all works without the math. But in the end, play the way you enjoy and that works for you. As long as you are having a good time , is tall that matters.
the coin in is the same , but if you were to mainly play $1 you are a one dollar slot rated player, same with $5 or $10 and up. 100 in , is 100 in no matter what $ amount you are playing.
Love all the info. I know a lot of people don't like Caesars rewards. I'm currently at Platinum level and getting close to diamond. They offered me a 4 night stay at Harrah's in Laughlin and on a chartered flight for 2 for $70 beginning in October. For $70 I can't say no to that deal. I don't know, am I missing something?
If they are treating you good then that’s great. They cut their rewards program many years ago , is mainly why the distaste. But the flight deals you are getting are nice and you should get more when you hit diamond.
Thanks for the reply. Caesars has something called Caesars Air. It’s a whole site that reward members can book chartered flights and rooms on. Kinda interesting. Have a good one!
I just found your channel from your Luxor review. Thank you for this series comps have always been confusing to me. My home casino is Winstar are the Tribal Casinos the same on comps?
welcome!! winstsr and choctaw are different from vegas. mainly due to the lack of completion (except with each other and the almost undivided business from north texas) however if gambling comes to texas we could see some great comps and offers coming from the OK properties. fingers crossed!
When playing table games can you describe how much you should ask for and when to ask for them. Can I get a room and dinner betting 150 a spin on roulette gambling for a 3 hr session
If you are betting $150 a spin for 3 hours , you ask to talk to a host. They should be giving you a room and food money. i did my grind at aria for 2.5 hours at aria , pit boss sent me to host desk ( next to cage) they put me in a suite and got me dinner at the steak house plus extras. roughly speaking , if i am at any table for a few hours even betting $5 a hand i will ask for a buffet at least. Never hurts to ask, the worst they can say is no. Also if you goto the same property and are consistently better $150 a spin , ask to get rated. That puts you in the books that you play X
Hi! Great channel. I gamble with a group of people and for a 2 day stay we each take around $1500. Sometimes we win sometimes not...but when they get their mail-outs with free play they always have more free play then me. I am not sure how much money they put in each slot. I walk around with a bunch of $20's. If they consistently start with more money ($500) in each slot, could that be the reason they get more free play?
Can you let me know where you play and do they play diff denoms than you do? So many things can contribute to varied offers even among like budgeted friends who play the same machines. Coin in (churn) can be a huge impact to comps, if they have a higher coin in avg and a higher churn that will totally do it.
@@GambleTheGlobe Thanks for your reply. I play mostly in Louisiana and WinStar, since TX doesn't have anything but 2 Indian casinos. I haven't paid attention to the denoms my friends play. But none of the group is a High Limit player. I think a conversation with my friends would probably help. I am headed out in a couple of days to spend 4 days hopping around to several Louisiana casinos. I am going to try starting with a higher amount in, but still trying to remember to not let the slots take it all before I move on. Since I won't be going back to a casino until after Christmas, that way I will be able to see if my betting change has had any effect on the free play offered. Of course, I won't know until next month. I will let you know what happens. Thanks again, I love your videos.
@@TXtwilight1 you might try asking at the players desk , i know winstar is whacky with thier offers , i will get $5 in freeplay after going to the casino 2x in a month and then don’t go for 4 months and go and get 100 offer. no real reason behind it. But when i hear a group is getting better offers. the only thing that comes to mind is your daily avg might be lower than theirs, this is just a theory.
There are several tier matches going on usually. Where do you usually gamble? The worst tier match currently is at Caesar’s properties , if you have X tier at Y casino , you get matched to diamond ( new card holders only, yes you can never have had a caesar’s card before , but you have equal to diamond someplace else, dumbest promotion ever) Let me know where you usually go and i will do some research into any tier matches.
@@GambleTheGlobe so I started a very grind system of roulette. I live In NY and can only play an ecg game. My comps are only points based and u get hardly anything except an upgrade room for free when I go. My mom lives in vegas and I plan a visit in December . I am dying to try this system and plan on the palms because of the new buffet AYCE. I will be top tier black card by then. Do you think they will match my card or can you recommend a casino that will
If you are playing the roulette with a physical wheel or a virtual wheel and a computerize interface just be aware you are actually getting slot points ( in most places) not the same points you would if it were a table game.
