The outline around the square reminds me of my mother patching pants. Love toasted banana bread and coffee yum.

The jacket is looking so beautiful! DON’T cover the cute patch near the collar, just embroider a little rose in the middle or add a little hexagon to match the hexagon flower. 🌹

It's Friday today. Will you wear this shirt when it's finished? It might need careful washing. I would love to visit those shops you both went to. Mind you I have far too much fabric now. I've been saving it for most of my life. I love it, the look and the feel. Watching someone hand sewing brings me comfort. My mother was a dressmaker with quite a large business here in Brisbane. She made babies wear,way back in the 40's, 50's, & early 60's. Her Brand was Judalyn. She passed away young unfortunately. 1963. I know you're busy, but would you have time to drop me a line.
