The backing plates on these things are horrible, another tip, the bolts in almost all of the bushings for the front and rear subframes, like to seize in them. those front control arms and rear suspension arms, they’re a nightmare. Also if you haven’t replaced the ignition switch yet, I’d recommend it.

Will the transmission work for my Lancer Ralliart? I checked the code and the one on the eclipse starts with KF5M422V5P and the one on my lancer starts with F5M422R795. Will it work for you?

oh man, you guys pulled a 4g94 transmission to replace the 4g69 those trans are different, but it can work. What you need to do is take the bellhousing off the 4g94 transmission and install the 4g69 bellhousing on it, but with that setup you will need to run the 4g94 axles. But on your old transmission it seems that you just need to replace the input shaft bearing for that transmission, its very common on those another transmission that will work for it is the 4g64 transmissions from a 3rd gen eclipse.
@@skygrizzymodz from my understanding and what I found out after talking to all the Mitsubishi people is that they all use the same input shaft bearing. I bought one off ebay for like $40 more or less, I just bought the one listed for a 4G64 manual transmission.
There is a youtuber named RvaJay he has a galant and he did a 4g64 transmission in his car but he had to redo the input shaft bearing and he did a video on how he did it.
