All new “I took my duck to” videos have been posted on the new channel @duckandhuman for the past 5 months; there are literally 30+ videos in they style you like just waiting for you over there. RU-vid has been pushing shorts so hard in their fight against TikTok, and these shorts have screwed up the algorithm for this channel and longform videos are not being sent out. I have been struggling to afford to keep making these videos and may need to create a patreon or membership for PBS style audience support. I have been trying to tell this audience about this struggle but no one who hears this seems to care, because the algorithm isn’t sending out the messages to the right audience, only ‘shorts subscribers’, and this just makes it more difficult and confusing. Please make sure to properly support the content you enjoy on @duckandhuman because very soon I won’t be able to afford to pay my team a livable salary to continue helping me make the wholesome travel content you enjoy. As much as people assume I’m rich from this, I’ve literally continue to put every dollar i have into making this happen and have been living in my van for almost two years to afford to guarantee the money needed each month to continue to make any of these videos possible. I’m not doing this for money but I can’t do it alone, and everyone who has worked with me has shown they are certainly only in it for the money. I’ll be putting out a video soon addressing this properly and since I am no longer making money here (tho im sure the video won’t get sent out to anyone who cares). I have been searching for a new team of aspiring filmmakers to join me in my travels, who value traveling the world and making wholesome good vibes content more than they value feeding their insatiable hunger for the almighty dollar.
