when I saw him use crimp connectors I new this car ws doomed! What a joke!

You mean you "knew" the car was doomed? And I suppose you would simply twist the wires together and apply tape? Sure, that's better than a crimp, LOL! (Fun fact: virtually all automotive factory connectors are CRIMPED to the wires.)
