He really isn't very good online. I respect his tournament games and heads up, but he is so proud of himself here over shitty moves where he makes a out half of what he could have. I know he slow plays, but that's a waste of time. Again, he is awesome IRL and I love watching him. He is obviously awesome, but not built for online, and you know what? That's a good thing and I would trade places ANY DAY!!

“Never gonna complain when you win the pot” is the best thought process. When I get a walk with AA I remind myself that if I always got a walk, I’d be the most profitable BB player of all time.

no you took that out of context. I think he said never complain about winning the pot with that shitty hand he had. It was one of the worst hands he plays

Impressive to see Daniel react exactly the same way for AA that he does with 8 7 off for example. He plays the table and the situation much more than he plays his cards.

Poker was never about playing your cards and if you thought it was, or ever thought it was you must be relatively new (first 2 or 3 years playing serious) Even 15 years ago when I was 14 years old playing only house games it was never just playing your hand. You were reading the other players and betting patterns. Why would anyone play AA the same EVERY time. I played today and check called my AA to the river and I'm sure I got an extra 8-10 dollars out of it since the other two in the hand were blinds that checked it down to river. Only reason was because I hit a double up two hands prior off a reraise pre flop. Attention on me was high at the table. Raising or reraising again so soon would've had the blinds insta fold and only make like 1.50

AQ check behind on flop was pretty brilliant, only card he is really scared of is a King and if he doesn't have a king or exactly two hearts then he is dead to runner, runner,which was exactly the case. If he c bets the flop like 99% of people, guy just folds his J10 and negraneu wins nothing, instead he lets him catch up on turn and he ends up getting a turn bet and river call out of him. Just one example of why he is considered one of the greatest of all time.

The 10h7h hand at 6:11 is beautiful. Most likely a bluff from villain but the distinction between calling the bluff and putting him all in even when he only has 10bb left is so important. Shoving is losing poker all day. Daniel's reads r so fine but he doesn't just rely on his reads he also considers the best logical option. It's basically GTO + really good exploitative at the same time. Winning poker.

You can't find a better free lesson in this game. This is thousands of dollars and a lot of trail in error and analysis to learn. Even with the money lose most don't get this deep. I literally just became a better player from this content. He made a few boarder line decisions but it was all done with a concept. I need to play more with position and fold with good hands out of position. I understand everything he's doing. Dneggs you humbled yourself and became great. A true master. Small ball was a solid statagy but is like only know how to box in an Mma fight.

I was wondering when you were discussing raising when they only call with better hands at 9:35 is there value in raising so they don’t see your cards at the end of the hand when they fold?
@KKSuited
@KKSuited 2 года назад
No. If only better hands call and only worse hands fold, putting in more money only gives you -EV, because the times they are strong you will have lost the maximum. What would worry you about them seeing that you played a hand correctly? If anything, it could induce bluffs into you. Which is +EV for you.
@KKSuited
@KKSuited 2 года назад
You just have to keep the balance by occasionally checking strong hands to them on the river to induce the bluff, because you laid the ground work that you will check marginal hands to them and could be blown off of it.
