Do you think I will finish it today? So far I am pretty happy how it's turning out, definitely many lessons learned. It feels good already not to crouch on the floor the whole time.
Congrats on your new workbench. I saw all 4 videos and felt the same vibes as how I started woodworking. Once you figure out how to use a handsaw, you'll probably feel it's 10x easier to cut wood than how you feel now:)
Great work! never thought about a top shelf like that. For stability maybe some heavy stuff on the bottom shelf will help? The whole thing looks very light.
Thanks I found the idea somewhere online. I like it, however when I do some sawing it happens that things are falling from the top shelf, I just need to be smart with what I put up there. Also it's a bit annoying as it limits the width of the workbench main plate a bit... But so far I don't hate it. True, once I loaded the bottom shelf it became way more stable, I have also added some horizontal poles here and there which I think helped.
Hello! Good job! If You can, put on the back some sheet /plywood, particle board, MDF/, at least 6mm will make it more stable and under the top shelf will be possible to hang tools
@@szmano true, was actually already a bit annoyed that it blocks me a bit with length of the wood when putting a piece on the table. But it's fine for now
