Novel technology to create Return Board with available materials - universally useful for all TT Players & Coaches. You are an Artist, Scientist, & Sports lover combined.
It is very simple and I feel all the required materials are generally available at home or can be easily fetched in hardware shops.. Simple to assemble and it seems to be having flexibility remove and change the angle. A boon to T T lovers in the lockdown! Nagi it is fabulous!
Thank you sir for your effort, the last return board you made is the best in my opinion, but if you put some kind of rubber on this board it will be like the one selling online ,thanks
Thanks, see my other videos loaded on RU-vid on Return board. I have used a cushion sponge on the board which has a good bounce similar to TT rubber . This is giving the same bounce and takes the spin too. See part 1 , 2 , 3 of video and other videos demonstrating the practice.
Sir, thanks for this video. Can I ask you something. Do you think a thicker ply would return the ball better and be more durable? And what kind one should use, plywood or blockboard for this purpose? I am trying to make one for myself, so I asked for your advice. Thank you
Yes u can use thicker ply also as long as it bounces well like our TT Table. Please see my other videos on RU-vid loaded on different type of return board created by me. I have also used ordinary sponge cushion on the ply which bounces the ball neatly.
Dear Jack Hsieh I did not spend any money. As I explained, I had a old wooden baby cradle frame and a piece of ply wood lying at home . I cut plank to the size and put screws to fix the plank on the frame of the cradle as shown in my video. It costed me nothing. Only creative thinking. 🤔🤔🤔😃😃😃😃
Dear Vivek. Don’t worry about the dimensions. There are different dimensions boards. Some kept on the table and some fixed away from the table to play offensive shots. And some lengthy boards to cover the whole table. If the bouncing area is broad enough to return , it is sufficient. Main thing is the angle adjustment to get the return on to your side . So adjusting angle is very important.
