Steven, the way you are bringing this book to life is amazing. Mrs Fisher encountering Lotty and Rose in 'HER private sitting room' is a funny scene in the book but I was laughing out loud throughout your wonderful reading of it. Just fantastic 😂 There are so many themes and moods in this novel and you read them so perfectly. The introspection of Lady Caroline/Scrap is brilliantly read. It's a serious theme the author is giving us here among all the fun in the book - the unwanted attention and harassment Scrap is on the receiving end of and the resulting embitterment and spoiling of her life. The plight of poor Rose was beautifully read as was the contrasting joyfulness of Lotty, in her Heavenly state!
