2013年に東京・渋谷にオープンし、2021年12月末に大繁盛のなか閉店したカフェ「COFFEEHOUSE NISHIYA」。そのオーナーで現在は浅草・田原町にて「COFFEECOUNTER NISHIYA」を展開する西谷恭兵さんのスタイルは、地域密着型のイタリアンバールスタイル。お客さんと心地よい距離感が取れる対面バーカウンターでは、一杯一杯、西谷さんが抽出します。
カウンター越しに見えるその美しい所作とプロとしての仕事ぶりへのファンが多く、講演をすれば、多くの人が集まるコーヒー界のレジェンドです。

World Coffee in Good Spirts Championship １人目の日本人として出場
2013年、渋谷に「COFFEEHOUSE NISHIYA」をオープン。大人気店となるも2021年閉店。

COFFEEHOUSE NISHIYA, a café that opened in Tokyo's Shibuya in 2013, suddenly closed in 2021 despite being very popular. The owner, Kyohei Nishiya, now operates COFFEECOUNTER NISHIYA in Asakusa, Tawaramachi, where he continues his passion for the Italian bar style. With a focus on building strong community ties, Nishiya personally serves each cup of coffee at the bar, creating a comfortable distance with his customers.
Many are captivated by the graceful movements and professional craftsmanship visible from across the counter, making Nishiya a legend in the coffee world who draws large crowds whenever he gives a talk."
Although Nishiya rarely gives interviews, he has shared his philosophy and behind-the-scenes stories exclusively to COUZOU COFFEE CHANNEL.
