My Uncle ran one of these back in the day.. Hes a contract with the Council doing trenches pipes and eleccy poles... and every few years he upgrades his jcb to the latest version.. Amazing how far machinery has come in 30 odd.. He'd love this video..
I love to watch your video's I find them very interesting, seeing how you do things in the UK. And the different equipment and all. I also get a kick out of some of your Television shows, like Mrs. Browns Boys and As Time Goes By. I find it interesting how things are different but in some things the same. My mother was German my dad met my mother when he was in the Army in Germany they were married in Germany then he brought her here to America in 1952. And yes I am old. LOL But still enjoy seeing old equipment like your backhoe that is still working. And your go pro does a great job. Thanks for the Video's!!!
The fact that you enjoy doing the videos shows through in to the videos. I for one find your presentation very relaxing. The GoPro is basically the best for first person documentary style filming. Blake's Seven was my must watch in the day.
great videos john keep up the good work that you are doing on you tube nices 3x digger they say were I'm from the older the better and new ones are not as good as the old ones going around I'm happy that you are back on youtube and putting up videos for uses
We had one of those diggers on the farm where I worked. Sloppy as hell in all the joints but as you say better than a shovel. Rather watch you then telly much more entertaining. Keep up the good work I for one love it.
Now here is a man that talks total sense your right john a English mans home is his castle and should be protected. The Sweeney is still on sky at times still very watchable. Your channel is like I said becoming compulsive viewing. Good luck to your new young workman. Keep up your fantastic filming. Bob
Great video John your comments make me laugh.Nice to see the farm videos others don`t show.I`m afraid that`s life John when we get older we a bit loose in the joints and start to leak everywhere.
Hi John we still got one of those beasts with a telescopic back actor still working ......great videos mate keep it up , very knowledgeable chap ...Sean
Another great video! I'm glad you started your own RU-vid channel. The channel is growing nicely. I was worried we wouldn't get to see you around the farm anymore.
our local council has an even older one that is used in there yard. its a B registration 1984 machine and has around 12.000 hours on it. unbelievably it all still works but makes a good amount of blue smoke when they make it work ! my uncle used to take me out in his 3cx back when i was a younger lad. he still owns it but is retired now so it gets used on a local farm where he lives . his one is a 1997 machine with about 6000 hours .
Nice to see you working away John, love the way you're keeping JWB on the youtube land here Glad to see you're enjoying yourself and by the way the audio is fine mate, don't worry about a bundle of camera's, we want The Legend in raw format!! :) an honest hard working old school farmer.. love it :) keep it up John & crew!!
Hi John Thanks for part one I'm Looking forward to part 2 . As you've owned and paid for that old girl over the years, for a winter project you could probably spend less than 5000 on it and go through and tidy it up if the cash was spare. In my opinion you'd still have a nice cheap digger compared to some of the junk that age and newer , I was looking at online in the U.K before I got my 3D3 locally. Talking of Emmerdale I remember when there was a Marshal 802 type tractor in the start of the show, and thinking back I'm sure Joe was ploughing with a cab less David Brown to at one point. Then there was good old Amos and Mr wilks at the woolpack, Times changed before I left the U.K in 2000!. My Dad and Uncle where big into contract direct Drilling in the late70's/80's, They put Ursus tractors on for Fertilizer sprayers over at Berkhamstead Herts, if they were short drivers they drove the countys on the ammonia injection to. The last few years they owned all the Bettinson 3 and 4 M drills themselves after the company quit, when they lost there yard. they had fun running up to London and out past Leighton Buzzard even in those days with traffic.
Before I went on the tour coaches I used to work as office manager for a road surfacing company, back in 1988 and I remember getting our first JCB 3X - in those days what a great machine, no fandangled electronics etc and needed a good operator. Fully agree with you about tv - what an insult to having to pay a licence fee. It's all repeats, absolutely no new programmes or films unless it is "celebrity this" or "celebrity that" where the "celebrities" are all unknown morons who will do this for nothing to get noticed. There's no money - BBC is going down the drain. If everyone would group together and refuse to pay tv licence fees, maybe something would be done. You Tube is far more interesting, so much, so varied and so interesting. Your videos are getting better and better, it's as if you have in inborn knack for involving your viewers, as if we were the only one you were talking to and as if we were with you. Keep it up when you can and don't stress when it gets busy - we will understand and wait for you.
" Little legends" lol that would be funny keep em coming John, I've been trying to buy a good 3cx for a while either too knackered or too expensive lol 👍🏻
Aye there old John. Loved the videos of your day it was great to watch. Ever done any work for horse yards or worked with horses when you were younger man?. stay safe sunshine
Give it a service John, no reason why it should have leaks and play if it was serviced properly, these are good machines and made here in England, not like the new 3cx's where parts are from all over the place ..
Keep up the great videos one question whats the old project sat in the building where you said your diesel tanks used to be looks fergie from the view we got
Good vid John, every farm has an old digger loader that's paid for itself 10 times over. Just a question, what do you think of the newer shaped fastracs.
She's an old girl George not like the new ones I drive.. She needs sum tlc tho ha ha massive play in back actor 😂 but she strong old horse still going for it 👌nowt wrong with your jabber John your wise old boy ud teach these youngens summing.., Defo mate we gotta show the youngens or there won't be no tomorrow...
You keep talking of that old machine very very old ( sniff ) I will be 60 this summer ( sniff ) what will I be ????? An antique !! ( sniff ) keep on your video your funny ! an interesting your camera is very good and the sound too sometime a bit hard to understand but that is the fault of the VERY VERY OLD MACHINE .
Ther's nothing wrong with 60 .I intend to keep going until i fall of my perch . Then the old boy can dig a hole with that old digger and bury me .Or just push me in the muck heap to rot down . cheap and cheerful.
JWB Farm Services keep on keeping on john , cracking video glad you started up the channel , ever since watching your videos iv wanted to travel to the u.k it looks so beautiful! And of course I'm very interested in the JWB farm!
