It's so cool that Nightmare is staying calm even in this situation, I like how you made his personality. It's also nice to see that his gang are not doing something like stereotypical "ohhh, Nightmare is weak, we should kill him now" stuff. Also Horror throwing that axe just to make Dust angry is just perfect.
I love how NM remains firm and calm in the face of his situation, he is someone who reasons and thinks twice before acting, and let's not forget his subordinates! who even knowing that he is a weakling they are faithful to him otherwise that would be very hypocritical of them, right?... Leaving my tastes aside, the video seemed perfect to me from the characters, the plot, the soft palette of colors and the NOT exaggerated aspects, everything is very well elaborated, continue like this I hope to see more of this content! i love their personalities! especially nightmare and error's interactions, you can tell they trust each other more and they're closer because error continued talking to him. the designs and their personalities make me smile so much. i hate it when people either make nightmare too emotional or not emotional at all. there's a mix for him, you know? also i like how the gang is depicted. they aren't kneeling down for nightmare, scared of him, or even hate him. they respect him as their leader and does what he tells them to do. and nightmare has a good leader personality, calm, thinks twice before acting, has reasons for their actions and is generally really mature. he's not the stereotypical lol-i-kill-people-for-fun or the my-depression-is-my-personality. he actually feels like a person.
I cant wait to see more of this! I absolutely love your character designs and their personalities, i wonder how long it’ll last. Om getting the vibe it’ll be permanent but who knows really (i mean you do but- lets not talk about that factor)
Bruh this is really good- But I have a question: Nightmare in this form should have a slightly different personality since passive and corrupted are different. And passive are acting so calmly and maturely despite being (I think)six years old scares me. He was acting like a fully matured adult. I am not saying urs is not canon I am just saying that nightmare should be calm like your video, but not this calm. He does embody a rather calm, distant and passive, perhaps melancholic personality. He should still be very, very confused and scared. He wouldn't dare to talk to psychopaths so casually. Personally,it would be canon for nightmare to be clueless of the situation(since he probably doesn't know what is going on after he ''died'') and totally bewildered by his subordinates and an uncanny newfound respect for him.(the last thing he remembered was being almost bullied to death). And he would totally act like a child...He is a child after all. He would probably be very nervous and scared around the bad senses with LV way way higher than he is.(referring to passive here not corrupted) Also,passive would absolutely,without a doubt try to find his brother's whereabouts and try to contact him. To passive, dream is like, the only sans he knows and can rely on. As for the others? He doesn't even know them. He would feel very out of place in the ''nightmare's gang'' despite being the ''leader''. As for his subordinates? Personally,it is totally possible for them to not treat night with respect at all. Once they learn that nightmare is different from passive. They only possess the same body,so once they knows that,he might just see passive as a vessel and ignore him. Maybe they will imprison him until they finds a way for their real boss to come back. However,as for stereotypical ''omg nm is weak rn let's kill him now'',it is still impossible even if the bad senses were somehow informed of the truth. They are rather faithful to nightmare and even though passive is not nightmare, they would try their best not to damage passive to ''save the vessel for nightmare to come back''. (p.s. credits to Gray Pyromaniac in this comment section for my inspiration about the stereotypical part)
In this situation, Corrupted Nightmare would be in control completely because he only changed his form not mind, Passive wouldn’t be there. If the situation was different so if Passive actually replaced Corrupted then you’re questions would be right. (sorry, if this didn’t make sense)
