Its funny all the unnecessary mark up that goes on between all these “dealers” before it actually gets sold to an actual customer. So the watch is in one jeweler’s hand and its for sale for $10,000. So now this guy buys it, and he obviously has to add some on before he sells it to get his cut. So if it got sold directly to a customer from the first dealer it would be $10k. But now because one dealer is buying it from another, he’s gonna mark it up more. It’s honestly a scam, the dealers just resell the watches to each other to create fake demand and a fake market, so by the time the watch finds a customer that actually wants it theyre gonna have to overpay. So the 3 or 4 dealers that passed it around playing hot potato before it makes it to the end customer all get their cut. Seriously imagine if butchers, or car dealers, or sneaker stores did this? Theres no reason an item should pass through so many retailers before it makes it to a customer. It seems mostly to be these NYC kiosk vultures that do it. Honestly it just shows what scammers these people are
