Great game from Mol. Kinda inspiring to watch, even when Sorum was playing worse than normal rather than get angry with him Mol played harder and helped where he could

I've never seen Mol so emotional. He's coming back from a broken foot so I'm sure his play is not 100% and it makes him frustrated. Very surprised by how much the Vikings lost here, congrats to USA!

Hopeful for Benesh / Partain in Paris. Benesh could steady the pass a bit and keep quick/jumpy feet on the block so Partain can guide them to a medal.

With the amount of balls mol was taking on two almost feels like he doesn’t trust sorum

No I think they made that adjustment because they were losing so bad and had to do something different. Also Mol hitting on 2 was very very effective, so it was working. Very little to do with Sorum in my opinion.

I get that Norway are not in their best form. Sorum wasn't spiking as much as he should and Miles Partain kept picking it all up. But Mol was complaining two or even three times to the ref about the jump sets from USA, to the point where I thought he was gonna get a yellow card. That's really not like Mol at all. He's usually so cool and collected. By the end of the second set he was forcing option balls and trying out some other novelties, but it was too late. Seems like Norway are having a hard time at the moment...
