Thank you for another great battle report Immersaholic. Excellent commentary and liked the matchup between 2 interesting factions we don't get to see often, and also have some historical possibilities of really encountering each other. In a matchup between very lightly armored axemen against very heavily armored spearmen (and with superior missle support), my money is on the spearmen! Parthian men-at-arms look like they stood their ground the longest, but kill count at the end is really mixed between those 4 units. Total number of soldiers in each army wasn't too far different. I was surprised Medea had a little bit more numbers than Parthia, what with how many more armored infantry they brought along and 1 less unit of heavy cavalry?
Hey mate, keep the vids coming, much appreciated. Also I found a faction that is stronger in missile cavalry and with their general that can compete with Parthias and Medias and it's the most underrated faction that deserves a faction overview and has one of the best looking units. Saka Rauka
Will there be a faction overview for the Sakas? Seen their quirk for shock cavalry and maybe they're worth the time, although I do love me some horse archers courtesy of the Scythians which I have yet to finish the campaign of.
If you wanna play as parthia you should bring their HA's wth.. but Mada's infantry is by far superior, he should have brought some Deylamits as well... And the best cataphracts of the game. Great battle 👏👏👏
Cheap 300 man infantry especially axes are not good in front line grind fights. They are only effective in flanking and quickly routing units in a charge. Media brought front line units and parthia didn't
@Immersaholic Any tips on playing as the masaesyli. I am having problems with my front line. It seems like everything they have except from their cavalry sucks. Do I just mass produce units and except that this is a faction where seeing half my army die is acceptable
