Awesome info on partho👌.. I actually had my first one this year...Clown X Enchi OD..3 out 4 eggs made full term, one kinked, but the other 2 look fine so far.. they look all DS Enchi OD

I will say generally speaking with simple recessives that are visual in the mom they should all be visual in a partho (as well if she is a homozygous in any trait) However knowing what we do about DG actually being polygenic it does make sense the mom could produce both DG and non DG offspring as while they will inherit DGc it only needs one copy of the other DG(a/b) to be visual so they may also inherit the DG(a/b) wild typing instead.

Interesting. I know there is the possibility of retained sperm, but you add in only females and the birth defects as well, I can see it being Partho.
