Particle Experiments: Sprite sheets 

In creative coding and animation, we can implement many different kinds of visuals. Instead of drawing particles as circle shapes with code, we can use a sprite sheet and make each particle one of the randomised star drawings. These more complex star shapes can also be drawn with code and I showed you how to do it before, but it's always more performance efficient to have a ready made image, rather than make JavaScript calculate and draw all these shapes over and over.
We want smooth fast animation, so we should always try to make JavaScript do as little work as possible. Let me show you a very simple and easy way how to use sprite sheets with your particle effects.
