When this activity is done fast there is more risk of hitting the other person. Also, as the hands are open there is a risk of poking the eye with fingers. Should bag or boxing gloves be worn for this drill???

Another way of working on agility and movement. Almost simulates when you drop down to the body for a jab or cross then have to quickly step back out of range. Mainly just improving reaction, footwork, speed and agility.

If this is an attempt at negativity then go somewhere else. These are drills. Drills that can be used in sessions and by beginners and even intermediate/advanced. Perfection of the basics. We have many other tutorials. If you don’t like don’t watch. Simple.

@@McLeodScott nah I wasn't trying to be negative I actually just used a lot of thous drills in a private lesson I've just taught but on of the drills was trying to pummel for the under hook and that's a wrestling drill and that's hallruis to me

James Pickett yes we do a lot of different tech sparing drills. Unfortunately we still have restrictions in Scotland due to Scotland so are not able to spar right now. Once we can I will make a video 👌🏼
