Partners was an American comedy series that ran on CBS from September 24 to November 12, 2012. The series was created by Will & Grace creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, who also served as the show's executive producers and it stars Michael Urie, David Krumholtz, Sophia Bush, and Brandon Routh.
On November 16, 2012, CBS announced that Partners had been canceled. Within days, the show's page was removed from the CBS website and the show was removed from the People's Choice Awards online ballot for Favorite New TV Comedy.
Of the 13 episodes recorded, only 6 of them aired on American television. However, all 13 episodes aired in South Africa.

The fact they cancelled such a witty sitcom while some mediocre crap stayed on the air for years is beyond me.

Witty is a bit much. It certainly had it's moments but in it's original format it was a bit spread out.

zzzut I see why they canceled the show, the show would have lasted if they recast some of the actors, have a different set, and script. I find the jokes are sometimes flat, the women on the show were annoying. The actor playing the Nurse was a little awkward in his gay role.

+Frisbee The (un)holy Chuck Lorre formula - it's like a step-nephew of Murphy's Law and twice removed from "it was the butler" in a British murder mystery: insanely predictable and widely used, in addition to being grimly unavoidable and damn near unsinkable.

Ikr In the meantime, CBS was airing the worst seasons of their main cash cows, Big Bang Theory and Two and a half men (right when Ashton got casted) And they still pulled the plug on Partners..... It was a real dick move

I loved this show, I hope the release it on iTunes with all the remaining unaired episodes. I was excited to watch it cuz it was right after Will & Grace cancelled, so I thought this would’ve been a good replacement for it. It was witty and good to watch.

It's funny because in the last episode, Allie was complaining about her favorite show got cancel because "couple of couples". Then their show is actually get canceled. I guess they were giving us a clue that their show get canceled.

It was canceloed before they filmed the final episode and the network had pulled it from air so about half were not shown in the US

I will go to my grave thinking the creators of this show missed their chance to reboot Partners as a spin-off of the reboot Will & Grace. Imagine: Karen contracts the architects in Partners to build a new manse that Grace will do the interior of. Do a 5- or 6-episode arc to reintroduce the characters and then spin it off anew.

Anything with sophia bush should be successful sucks this didnt last networks suck , netflix originals is where its at ! Orange is the new black and house of cards for example :)
